Cirencester, Cotswold Water Park & surrounding area

We absolutely love the location and its focus on preserving the rural habitats and rural experience for guests travelling to this area - creating a unique holiday and memories. We find the area especially ideal for families given the way the area is organsied and managed. Be it the area being only open to those staying at Lower Mill, or whether it is the attractive surroundings or (of course!) the access to the amazing swimming pools - this is a destination in itself perfect for all age families but also ideal of groups of friends who fancy a trip into 'deepest, darkest Cotswolds'!! It really is exceptional.
The Lower Mill area is bustling with wildlife with over 3000 different species of wildlife across the area, they take conservation and nature very seriously. This means you will see all manner of differnt birds, butterflies, insects and so on - so please don't be scared (!!!) - it's here for good reason. Of course this does mean that you will probably see a wide variety of our eight -legged friends, but please be aware that the housekeepers do everything they can to keep the properties clear of spiders inside, but they can be determined!
There is a large spa with indoor and outdoor pools, the opportunity to have a massage or other beauty treatments all exclusive to certain properties during your stay. There is a tennis court, ample places to kick a ball and also a shop and restaurant, both open at selected times of the day and week during the course of the year. Everything you need is within walking distance.
Beyond the lakes, you have a wealth of places to visit, including Cirencester with its wide choice of shops and places to eat. Of course there are many villages also to pop and visit, some of the finest in the Cotswolds - but it all depends on whether you can be 'bothered' to leave the Estate. Once you come, we think you'll see why so many people come and stay again and again. Heavenly!!
