This house is situated in on The Fosseway, which is the main road leading into Stow on the Wold. Stow, of course, is one of the Cotswolds most famous market towns, renowned for its quality shops, cafes and restaurants. Very much a working town, there is a market day each week as well some excellent little festivals which pepper the year.
Surrounding the town are a host of stunning villages with their pubs, which are well worth taking in and viewing. There are few better places to be than this area if you want to see 'classic Cotswolds'. We'd personally recommend Lower and Upper Swell, Lower and Upper Slaughter for a start, we could go on...!
Ever popular and beautiful is Bourton on the Water which is about 8 mins drive away, while places such as Burford, Moreton in Marsh and Chipping Campden are equally easy to get to. If you're coming with the children then we would definitely recommend the Cotswold Farm Park (Guiting Power) and the Cotswold Wildlife Park (nr Burford). Again, we could go on, but there is plenty to enjoy.
Finally but not least, you really must try some of the local National Trusts Gardens, incl Kiftsgate and especially Hidcote Manor Gardens, one of the best in the country. We think you've got plenty to do.....!!!
