Then you've got some perfect walks right from your front door - in fact you've got something to please everyone here which makes this a perfect choice for a break, for friends, family or a couple.
A detached property, Pear Tree Cottage has undergone some loving improvements recently and whilst the finished cottage is simply gorgeous, all the main period features remain at the heart of the building. Inglenook fireplace, beams, and mullion windows are mixed with top notch furnishings to create a feel of luxury. The bedrooms are handsome and welcoming, the bathroom fresh and quirky, while downstairs the living room is classy and romantic. If you haven't worked it out yet - we love this place and are sure you will too. An excellent choice indeed.

Pear Tree Cottage sits about 30 seconds walk from The Village Green and (more importantly!) the village pub. The village of Bledington is a truly quintessential village in every sense, a quiet spot in the countryside filled with attractive cottages and houses and views. It is located in the valley of the River Evenlode, close to the famous Cotswold towns of Stow-on-the- Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water and Burford all of which are between 5 and 15 mins drive away.
Daylesford, the very popular organic shop and store (plus spa, garden shop and restuarant!) is about 10 mins drive away too, so if your minded to spend on some hard earned money!!! The village of Kingham is also a very popular spot (about 5 mins drive) with three very good quality pubs, The Millstream, The Wild Rabbit (owned by Daylesford) and also the Kingham Plough - all three offer superb food.
Bledington lies on the Oxfordshire Way walk which is a super trail which takes you up on the wolds (hills) via Wyck Beacon and then down to Bourton-on-the-Water. The village is very attractive (one of the most sought after in property terms) and has the quintessential village green coupled with a great pub: The Kings Head, which serves real ale as well as good food.
Stow on the Wold is the most local town and this has all the necessary shops, including supermarket, cafes, antique shops (etc) plus many pubs and restaurants. Regency Cheltenham and the magnificent university town of Oxford are also within striking distance (about 40 mins drive), although it is possible to catch the train from Kingham station, the next village, which will take you into Oxford in 20 mins or London in 1 hr 35mins.
All round a gorgeous location!
