Formerly the Lodge to the Manor this beautiful Cotswolds' home is now available as a holiday cottage and provides the most perfect setting for self catering accommodation you could wish for. Situated in surroundings that evoke memories of 'the good ol' days' this delightful cottage offers a truly authentic Cotswolds' experience. The children can roam freely while you watch the world go by and enjoy the local wildlife in a totally unspoilt countryside location that is hard to believe still exists. Inside the cottage offers spacious accommodation for up to 6 people split across two floors and packed with oodles of period features. The rooms are perfectly cosy and packed with character and all have stunning views through mullion windows. And as it is located at the end of the Manor's drive and on the edge of the village, you have both delightful privacy but also the perfect village location imaginable. Heavenly.

There is a large garden surrounding the cottage, enclosed and with mature borders. There is a table and chairs for 6 people. There is ample parking. The cottage is very typical of its period, with roses around the door and similar - totally quintessential. There are miles of walks from your door, while the village is about a minute walk away.
Pets Welcome. Children Welcome (encouraged!) Cot and High Chair available. Starter pack of logs available. Heating & Electricity all included. Additional logs, plus a host of other services are available through the estate office. Incluing beauty treatments, newspapers, basic foods, cooking services and so on.

The hamlet of Notgrove lies on the top of the Cotswolds in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Mentioned in the Doomsday Book, the Notgrove Estate is now a family farm of around 1500 acres. Set in some spectacular countryside it includes 400 acres of unspoilt pasture mostly in steep sided dry valleys, interspersed with mixed woodland copses. There are around 30 Cotswold stone cottages in the quiet and picturesque village, which is typical of the area. There are many, many miles of walks to be enjoyed across the estate, maps are provided in the cottages, which allow you to take in some of the most breathtaking views.
Nearby is Bourton on the Water ("The Venice of the Cotswolds") which has a number of attractions and remains a popular place to visit when staying in the Cotswolds. Northleach is also closeby, which includes one of the Cotswolds' finest gastro pubs The Wheatsheaf. About 15 mins drive away are the popular villages of Stow on the Wold and Burford, with their collection of pubs, restaurants and shops.
Cheltenham in particular is close by, while Oxford is no more than 40 mins drive also.
