Chipping Campden, Broadway, Chipping Campden & surrounding area
|Tucked down a little courtyard just behind the Chipping Campden High Street is delightful row of cottages, within which Noel Cottage is found. A truly charming Cotswold stone mews cottage, it is a sweet holiday home providing an excellent escape to one of the Cotswolds' most beautiful towns. It's location is absolutely ideal as it is within a few yards' stroll (literally) of many of Campden's quaint shops, tea rooms, inns and restaurants, and yet thanks to its position you not only have off street parking but you have relative tranquility away from the hub-ub of the high street. |
Inside the cottage is very well furnished, very clean and is ideal either as a base for touring the local area or for simply doing nothing and enjoying this stunning village! Additionally, there is an enclosed garden area to the front where your pooch can stretch their legs. This thoroughly welcoming cottage is an excellent choice for this stunning location.

Chipping Campden is a beautiful historic town filled with charm and character, and rightly considered one of the Cotswolds finest and most attractive villages/towns. Noel Cottage's location just off the High Street makes it about 15 seconds walk away from the antique shops, pubs, restaurants and amenities that cover the location. We've always enjoyed our visits to Campden (as it is often called locally) and with plenty to do in the near vicinity, it's hard not to think of returning after your first visit. In fact Chipping Campden was recently voted the Nicest Village in England!
There are some superb walks literally from your front door, with Dover's Hill a favourite. Depending on the timing of your stay, you might be able to encounter the Olimpik Games, Campden's own, historic version of games - including the infamous World Shin-Kicking Championships!
As well as its own activities and shops, we do recommend you visit Broadway (10 mins by car) and also take in some of the Cotswolds finest villages all near by places such as Snowshill, Stanton, Hicote and Blockley are all well worth visiting - they're beautiful.
Due to its central location in the north Cotswolds, you can enjoy the delights not only of this charming old wool merchants' town, but also the nearby surrounding shire counties of Oxfordshire, Worcestershire and Warwickshire. From Blenheim Palace and the Cotswolds to the south, to Worcester and the Malverns to the west plus Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick (with the best medieval castle in Europe) all within an hour's journey.
