Condicote, Stow on the Wold & surrounding area
Honeysuckle Cottage is a classic Cotswolds Cottage, set overlooking local countryside, and a short distance from Stow on the Wold. The property is presented in an attractive, fresh style yet with a cosy, homely feel that we feel is as suited to families as it is to couples. Downstairs is an open plan space with open fire and large sofas plus a well equipped kitchen, while upstairs are two good sized bedrooms both with views across the Cotswolds' countryside. With Stow on the Wold a few minutes up the road you have an excellent selection of pubs, cafes and antique shops and art galleries close by (for the grown ups!) while for the children, Adam Henson's (of BBC Countryfile) Cotswolds' Farm Park is only a few minutes away - there's plenty to keep everyone happy! There are some quite amazing walks taking you into arguably the most attractive part of the Cotswolds' countryside.

Honeysuckle Cottage sits just outside the village of Condicote, a village which is very much in a rural location with an incredibly traditional and 'olde-worlde' in its feel and style. The village, as you can see from the images, is packed with classic Cotswold stone buildings. The house, is very rural in its position, yet perfectly located, just off a minor road, as it is no more than 3 miles from Stow on the Wold and also in easy distance of other popular places such as Broadway and Chipping Campden.
Stow on the Wold is amongst the most well known places to visit in the Cotswolds, there are a wide range of shops, cafes, restaurants. galleries, antique shops to keep the most avid shopper happy, there is also a main stream supermarket. Read our Guide to Stow on the Wold here. Other places of interest, such as Daylesford, Bourton on the Water for example are approx 6 miles from the cottage. We've recently enjoyed trips to The Old Stocks (cafe/bar/restaurant) in Stow, but there are many others to choose from. Huffkins, the famous Tea Rooms is also set on the market square.
From the cottage, your nearest pubs will be either in Stow, or how about a few village pubs - try The Plough in Ford (about 2 miles) or Coach & Horses in Longborough or how about the Hollow Bottom in Guiting Power, all goood pubs and all within 5 - 10 mins drive max.
As you can imagine you are spoilt for walks, the views and countryside are quite breath-taking so do bring the right clothes and shoes/boots and enjoy the fresh and feel good for yourself!
This is an excellent location all round!!
