Ducklington, which is the nearest village to Home Farm and roughly 1.5 miles away, is large working village situated on the edge of the large, bustling market town of Witney. There is two local pubs in the village, The Bell and the Strickland Arms. There are many other villages nearby which have some good options (The Black Horse in Standlake dates back to 1672) and the famous Trout at Tadpole Bridge are both worth a visit. Witney has a very large range of shops and supermarkets and some great pubs to both drink and eat in.
Burford, which is approximately 6 miles away, offers a classic Cotswold experience and as it is described as the Gateway to the Cotswolds, thereafter there are many Cotswolds villages to enjoy beyond.
