Freshford Village, Bath & surrounding area
Clematis Cottage, Park Corner, Freshford is a traditional cottage set in this beautiful village near Bath, Somerset. The cottage which dates back 200 years is constructed of dressed ashlar Bath stone in the front with rough block stone to the rear. To take advantage of the excellent views down of the Freshford Valley, there is a centrally heated sunroom addition. This is a full sized 115 sq.m. house with a 250 s.m. traditional garden, a lockable garage plus another off-street parking spot.
On the ground floor, the cottage comprises a cosy living room, a fully fitted kitchen/diner and a separate dining family area fitted for self-catering. The second floor includes a double bedroom with great views of Park Corner and the Freshford Valley, a single bedroom and family bathroom. The third floor which contains both double and single beds is ideal as that special "hide-away" for the children.
The decor is simple, colourful and "easy on the eye" reflecting the essentials of cottage life and the superb value with many original cottage features. The sun-room with the views down the Freshford Valley offers a unique facility for relaxing and enjoying the Freshford environment. Outside, the garden is in good order with a well positioned patio area with table and chairs for soaking up the village atmosphere.
