Little Rissington, Bourton on the Water & surrounding area
Bobble Cottage is a delightful Cotswold cottage, stunning and contemporary and, in our opinion absolutely ideal for couples looking for a weekend bolt hole. The property is located in a quiet corner of the beautiful Cotswold village of Little Rissington and has off street parking for one car. Internally the ground floor is open plan, with a welcoming cosy and warm feeling; upstairs is a good sized bedroom with ensuite bathroom. All in all the cottage is presented to a very high standard with comfort central to its appeal. As you can imagine there are great walks from your front door, either up the hill where you'll get some stunning views or alternatively you can walk down the hill towards Bourton on the Water, which is 30 mins on foot or less than 5 mins in the car! With such a central central location, it is an ideal base for enjoying the many National Trust gardens and properties. A gorgeous cottage!

Little Rissington is a small and classic Cotswold village, laden with chocolate box Cotswold cottages in every direction every inch the typical, local village for this region. It sits on the edge of the hillside, approximately one mile from Bourton on the Water and within 5 miles of Stow on the Wold and Burford. Although there is no pub or shop within the village Bourton has a wide choice as well as few restaurants and tearooms to choose from.
Bourton is particularly known for its very pretty feel, especially the six arched bridges which cross the river that passes through the village as well as a few family attractions - The Motor Museum, Birdland and The Minature Village are all good little excersions. Slightly further afield are The Cotswolds Farm Park at Guiting Power (think Adam Henson and his healthy brigade) and The Cotswold Wildlife Park in Burford with lions and a wide selection of other animals.
The village is centrally located and very convenient for most Cotswold attractions and towns, many of which are within a short drive. Oxford (30mins), Cheltenham (20mins) and Bath (1 hour) each offer a full day out and are within reasonable driving distance.

"The cottage has everything you could wish for and some lovely touches like hot water bottles (not that we needed them) and tea, coffee, milk etc and chocolate biscuits much appreciated. Mrs Dabner, June 2017."Dabner 2017-06-22
