Set overlooking Howell's Mere, Number 6 is a stunning family holiday home that really does offer everything! A 'reverse living' home with a huge window looking towards the lake, and where the light 'floods' in. A large open plan living space opens to a decked terrace through some sliding glass doors, bringing (as they say) the "outside in". Downstairs at ground floor level are three bedrooms, all a good size with two bathrooms. Step outside and you are in a beautiful location, with plenty to keep you all busy. There are three pools to choose from (indooor, outdoor and natural), a tennis court and football pitch area and miles and miles of walks and bike paths. There is a village pub about 15 mins walk away in Somerford Keynes (there is a little cafe/restaurant at Lower Mill too, open weekends and school holidays) plus the joys of Cirencester about 10 mins away in the car.

There are two decked terrace areas, one on each level of the building and with seating and a table.

The Lower Mill Estate is a 450 acre private nature reserve, located in the heart of the Cotswold Water Park. Not to be confused with water slides or fun park, the Water Park is in fact a nature lover's paradise, including two Sites of Special Scientific Interest, with thousands of wildlife species all living in harmony with this very attractive part of Gloucestershire.
At Howells Mere you will never be far from the unspoilt and abundant areas of wildlife and fauna, with two sites of Special Scientific Interest. After nightfall enjoy the antics of otters, bats, foxes and badgers. For such a peaceful place there is never a dull moment.
If you require a moment to yourself or some indulgent time to relax you have exclusive use of the luxury Artspa where three beautiful pools await along with a range of treatments including, aromatherapy, Indian Head massage and stone therapy will reenergize as well as relax you. Great for you and great for the children!
A small farm shop is situated in Mill Village, offering all of the essentials. Additionally there is a restaurant come bar called Ballihoo which offers meals and drinks and a place to visit for a drink.It regularly hosts events which co-incide with school holidays
As a guest, you are free to enjoy the whole Estate at your leisure. Many people comment that Lower Mill often feels like a time warp back to days when children can run about freely and safely (with the resepct of water of course). You may want to enjoy a peaceful walk around one of the beautiful lakes, fish, and bird watch from one of the hides or sail on one of the lakes. Attractions further afield include the market town of Cirencester, the olde world village of Bibury, stunning town of Tetbury with its galleries, antique shops and Westonbirt.
