Property Information

Rivers Street House, Bath (Visit Britain 4 star) is a unique and characterful town house with so much history that it is hard to believe that it is available for self catering! 200 years old and once an artist's gallery (and before that a sweet shop for the wealthy merchants) the property is an excellent base for enjoying the Bath attractions, restaurants and shops, situated on the end of a traditional Georgian terrace and no more than 5 minutes walk from the centre of Bath. This petite holiday house provides a very good standard of accommodation for people looking to tour the southern Cotswolds as well as the architecture of this World Heritage Site. Internally the property has been modernised to provide fully equipped accommodation spread over three floors. We love this little beauty!!

ACCOMMODATION

Entrance into Kitchen/Diner, fully equipped with 4 ring electric hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine/drier and fridge with freezer compartment. Table and two chairs plus window seat.

First Floor (narrow winding staircase)
Living Room a cosy room with views across the street towards the traditional architecture, with sofa and armchair plus wall mounted TV and DVD player and music system.

Second Floor
Bedroom with standard double bed, wardrobes and bed side tables plus contemporary Ensuite Bathroom with walk in shower, WC and washbasin.

Sorry No Pets. Short Breaks available all year around. Any day welcome. Wifi Included.
Parking Permit for one car available at low price (can be used in central Bath) - £10 for a week, £5 for weekend. Payable to owner on arrival.

A Security Deposit  of £100.00 is also required by the owner, please discuss on booking.

Bath, World Heritage Site, is one of the UK's most popular and desirable locations with visitors travelling from around the world to see it's huge range of charms. With a hige range of things to do, places to visit or simply shops to browse, there is sure to be something to keep you busy and make your stay a thoroughly memorable one.

31 River Street is located about 3 minutes walk from The Circus Bath - a stunning example of classic Georgian architecture. The word itself incidentally comes from the Latin word 'circus' which means ring, oval or circle. Divided into three segments of equal length, the Circus is a circular space surrounded by large townhouses. Each of the curved segments faces one of the three entrances, ensuring that whichever way a visitor enters there is a classical facade straight ahead. is very compact, enjoys an excellent choice of artistic options including theatres, museums and similar It has been designated as a Grade I listed building. The holiday property is also about 8 mins walk from the world famous Crescent another beautiful piece of architecture which must be viewed when you stay in Bath.

There are so many things to choose from - here are some ideas for you to ponder. How about visiting the Thermae Bath Spa or the Roman Baths? The exhibitions in the Victoria Art Gallery are always worth a visit if time permits and there are countless festivals through the course of the year. A visit to the oldest house in Bath and home to the Sally Lunn Bun  is a real treat.

Naturally, there is a wide range of restuarants including many award winners, countless cafes serving traditional Afternoon teas!  The Jane Austen Centre including an exhibition and Regency tearoom is certainly worth a visit.  If you enjoy seafood Loch Fynes Restaurant is not to be missed!

If retail therapy is needed the new SouthGate shopping centre filled with stylish shops anad places to eat. 

For those who wish to travel slightly further afield options include the Cotswolds, Stonehenge and Glastonbury Abbey.  Lacock Abbey a National Trust delight and a popular film location for Harry Potter.
