Absolutely brilliant accomodation!

I booked the stay for my parents, my husband and I, and our two children for a cross country event my son was competing in in the area! Everyone was happy! The kitchen was the perfect space for us to all enjoy, with sofa, bar and table! The lounge next door was cosy and comfortable! The zip wire was an absolute hit with our 7 and 9 year old! The place was so well stocked with plenty of towels, flannels, and spares of absolutely everything which we really appreciated! Super friendly owner!! We have holiday lets ourselves and this cottage was 10/10. We’d highly recommend and certainly return again! Thank you so much!

We stayed at The Stables for four nights at half term - the perfect half way destination to meet a friend.

We had 4 children in the group. They had a brilliant time inside with lots of space and books/games/places to hide. There is a wonderful garden with zip wire/trampoline and swings and all sorts of equipment (table tennis /scooters/footballs/tennis rackets). The house was well equipped and immaculately clean and warm. Glenda and Barry were so generous and relaxed with their hospitality. They were very happy to help if we had a question or asked to borrow something and welcoming of children. We visited nearby Clent Hills (NT), West Midlands Safari Park, Cadbury World and swimming at Crystal Leisure Centre (children loved the rapids here). Belbroughton nearby was lovely and had a small but well stocked shop for any shopping you need last minute and seemed to have quite a few pubs. We had a wonderful time and would love to return again.

One of, if not the best place I’ve stayed at in the UK.

Outstanding in every way. We hosted two family dinners their, the kitchen is very well equipped, and the layout to cook whilst hosting and chatting whilst the children played on the zip-line and trampoline outside, or watched tv or pads in the lounge. Super comfy beds, powerful shower and pretty bath. And hosts next-door who furnished us with the food item missing from our order.

Booked for another year next Christmas. That’s year number 5 for us. We couldn’t imagine spending our break in the UK anywhere else. We love it and Glenda and Barry are absolutely wonderful hosts.

! One of the best places we have ever stayed in! We are already planning on returning! Was perfect for 4 adults and 2 children with ample amounts of space inside and out and close to a lot of amenities ☺️

We had a wonderful weekend at The Stables :) The property was stunning - spacious, clean, functional and comfortable, with a stylish mix of modern decor and period charm.

We were given clear instructions on how to enter/leave, as well as plenty of information about the local area and the history of the building, which was lovely. The hosts were helpful and approachable, and provided everything we could possibly need. The surrounding area was picturesque and peaceful with some lovely local walks, which were helpfully mapped out for us in the information pack! We had lunch at The Talbot in Belbroughton, which offered delicious food, friendly service and a cosy but contemporary feel. Our party comprised just adults but the garden would be brilliant for children, and we had great fun on the zip wire! Would definitely stay here again.

Our second stay at The Stables after a lovely first visit last year.

The house was just as welcoming this time and we met Barry & Glenda this year. There are so many places to visit locally, but the zip wire and trampoline made our granddaughters reluctant to go out when they had so much fun right outside!! Hope to come again with our daughters family in the Spring.

From the moment of arrival it was fantastic, super comfy beds, we had kitchen envy,it was more than well equipped.

The furnishings in the lounge again super comfy. The hosts Barry and Glenda go above and beyond to ensure you have a good stay, starting with a welcome pack of essentials. We couldn't fault anything, in fact it was the best holiday rental we have stayed in.

Quiet location despite being 5 minutes from the motorway.

Fantastic kitchen/dining area, really well equipped, and comfy lounge. Comfortable bedrooms although only one bathroom (plus separate toilet and sinks in two bedrooms) between all 3. Small patio area with bigger (shared with owners) garden area. Adjoining owners property, who were friendly but not at all obtrusive.

The property exceeded our expectations, spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped.

Lots of interior space and a great outdoor area which our grandchildren loved. . Located in attractive countryside with good road links Very easy parking , we had a very enjoyable stay.

This is such a beautiful property, furnished to a very high quality with everything you would need.

This is a lovely property.

It is well equipped and very clean. The property is in the countryside and is wonderfully quiet , however it is close enough to Birmingham to make a visit to the city easy should you wish too. The owners are fantastic and are on hand to talk through any questions you might have. To sum up this is a great property to explore the stunning countryside of Worcestershire or bustling Birmingham. I would recommend this property and wish to return.

This was another wonderful Christmas stay for us and our little girl.

The “Christmas cottage” continues to be our favourite holiday of the year. Glenda and Baz are truly fantastic hosts with everything you could possibly need. The home is spotless, comfortable and perfect. I just feel like we have found a gem of a home away from home. See you in Christmas 2025!

5* star review - great comfortable warm accommodation and friendly host.

Great to have a welcome basket on arrival especially after a long journey including milk, bread ,butter and some homemade jam The well kept and clean accommodation was decorated for Christmas which was a lovely surprise. Really enjoyed family time in the large kitchen which was very spacious and comfortable and fully equipped. Great location -highlights include Carpet Museum and Hartlebury Castle. and Museum. We would not hesitate to visit again in the future.

We have stayed at this delightful property 5 times so far and are booked in again in March 2025.

We stayed at the stables the second last week of August 2024 and if we could sum it up in one word - Wonderful.

We had such an amazing stay, the property was very clean, the facilities were brilliant and the hosts were extremely friendly. When we've booked air bnbs in the past, those stays had a transactional aura about them. You could tell those hosts are just about the income as they provide basic facilities and the property may be nice but doesn't have much character. The Stables however, very much felt like a home away from home and you can feel the aura of family strongly. These hosts care about the experience their guests have which is evident in every intricate detail - from providing the 'things to do on your stay' book which included the history of the home, places to visit, nearby scenic walks and the like. My family and I loved every moment and my 5 year old nephew asked me every day how long we had left to stay as he didn't want us to leave. The kids got to enjoy the zip line and trampoline and us adults played badminton and other provided games too. There were toys and books for the kids and overall just entertainment for everyone. Even though the weather wasn't the best during our stay, we genuinely didn't care because we had such a lovely time anyway. I saw reviews on The Stables and we now see why the reviews were so positive. It is an absolutely beautiful place to stay and my family and I are hoping we can incorporate The Stables into at least one of our yearly getaways in future. If you're thinking about it, go for it because I can assure you that you won't be disappointed. Thank you so much to our hosts for their kindness, care and welcoming spirit. We really appreciate you both and hope to stay with you again next year (my nephews already asked when were coming back!).

Our second stay at the wonderful Stables, it is a fabulous place to stay, peaceful location, we all love staying here in fact, the grandchildren did not want to leave and neither did we !

Perfect for visiting lots of lovely places, yet only half an hour to Birmingham City Centre. Great pubs and eatery’s close by! Lots of places, if you like walking

An ideal holiday home for a small family.

Our 3 and 1 year old children loved staying at The Stables, especially playing in the wonderful garden. The box of toys was also greatly appreciated and kept them busy for hours. The property was immaculately clean on arrival with a thoughtful welcome pack. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cater for little ones and adults too. We look forward to returning soon!

Another absolutely magical stay at the gorgeous “Christmas cottage” (as my 5 year old calls it!

). It truly is the place we are making the most precious memories and it’s our family time we cherish the most as the place just epitomizes coziness, warmth and charm. Thanks to such wonderful hosts. The house is lovely - it was so spotlessly clean, spacious, so well equipped and the facilities were all of a brilliant standard.

The host was lovely and so helpful, very friendly and welcoming. We had 3 children with us and it was very child/baby friendly Would highly recommend, we’d love to stay again!

A most spacious and beautiful dwelling, so well equipped.

You really want for nothing. The access to M5 and the local road network is easy. We so appreciated the kindness and availability of Glenda and her husband and hope to return next year to visit the family. Our main fear is that someone else will have booked before us!

Lovely cottage with high quality fittings and equipment and loads of storage space (was previously a family home) including two fridges and freezers.

Welcome pack included delicious bread, as well as milk, spread, coffee, tea, sugar, biscuits. Also provided more than enough toilet rolls for the week, soap, washing-up liquid, kitchen roll etc. Lots to do in the area, from country walks to central Birmingham, and loads of good pubs within 10 min drive. Minor niggles - light bulbs on stairs both needed replacing (found one replacement in drawer), one broken towel holder, but didn't detract from overall experience. Although only one bath/shower, two bedrooms had sinks (not listed in the Sykes property listing). Would happily stay again.

Very comfortable stay.

Plenty of room for our family. Spacious and full featured kitchen/dining room, and spacious comfortable living room. Full laundry facilities, outdoor space, etc. Would stay again.

Everything that you might need was there.

The kitchen was fully equipped. Location excellent. Would highly recommend.

What an amazing home from home so comfortable everywhere in the house.

Everything you need is here, it's so quiet you could be in the middle of Wales yet your only a few minutes from civilisation without driving hours ( in our case 10 minutes) highly recommend, very nice owners Glenda and Barry, ideal for a Christmas getaway 10/10

Had a wonderful holiday at The Stables, Belbroughton, 10th -17th February.

The owners are extremely helpful and lovely people. The accommodation is fantastic as is the surrounding area. We will definitely be returning for another holiday. The position of the cottage is great for exploring The West Midlands Safari Park, Birmingham City centre, the Malverns, Worcester and many more areas. Would highly recommend it! Definitely a 5 star from all members of our family.

We absolutely loved it here!

The owners are lovely and the property is spacious and clean. The owners let us have a little gathering for my cousin's birthday and they loved the garden and the zip wire. We are already thinking about another stay here. Thank you.

What an absolute gem of a find!

Our Christmas here has been magical and everything our 4 year old dreamed of. She loved the zip wire and Santa had easy access down into the cosy living room. The kitchen diner was the perfect adult entertainment space whilst the kids had fun in the lounge with the many games. We loved it so much we have already booked again before we even left the place! Can’t wait to be there again next year!

The Stables is a wonderful property.

A very social living space that caters to everyone's needs. We had a child under 2 and never once did we think she would be unsafe during our stay. I can't praise the owners enough for their hospitality, always on hand if ever we needed anything. Would recommend this to anyone wanting to visit North Worcestershire.

We were greeted at the Stables by Glenda and Barry (Baz) who made us extremely welcome.

Glenda showed us around and extensively explained where everything was etc. the property was incredible and tastefully decorated to the highest standard. We had every you could ever want at our finger tips. All the bedrooms were large double rooms. The beds were so comfortable. Even done to the fans in the bedrooms which were climate controlled. It was like being at home. The bathroom was so luxurious with a rolled topped bath, where you could relax and watch the television whilst having a soak, to the large walk in shower which could be operated from the outside. The kitchen was so well equipped it was a pleasure to cook in this kitchen. The oven was spotlessly clean and a shear joy to use. The utility room housed the white goods and Baz explained how to use the indoor line if we needed to use it. Moving on to the immaculate grounds where Baz showed us how to use the Zip wire which was great fun to the outside table tennis, trampoline and swings. We would highly recommend this beautiful property which whilst situated in the lovely countryside it’s within a short distance to all the main attractions.

We had an amazing time.

The Stables was excellent, it is beautiful. It was spotlessly clean, had everything you could possibly need. It is beautifully furnished and modern but keeping with a farmhouse theme. It was the nicest place we have ever stayed. The beds were so comfortable. Kitchen and living areas so cost warm and spacious. The outdoor area is fantastic, loads to do. Overall an amazing place. We will definitely stay here again and would have no hesitation in recommending the stables as a place to stay.

Wonderful holiday, the best accommodation We have ever stayed in, fabulous there is no other way to discribe it, and Glenda and Barry were very nice they were the owners and both were lovely and friendly.

We really loved the property.

There were so many extra touches which made such a difference such as robes, lots of kitchen equipment, the welcome pack and even lavender pillow mist. Glenda and Barry are the most lovely people who made us feel so welcome and we loved the bread and cake. The only downside was 6 ladies and only 1 shower but it didn't effect us too much as we weren't in a rush to go anywhere. We would definitely recommend this property. We have stayed many places together over the past 20 years and this has been by far the best.

We had a super stay at The Stables!

Our young kids loved the huge garden and the play facilities. Inside was clean, spacious and equipped with everything you need. Barry and Glenda were lovely hosts and on hand if we needed anything. There’s loads to do nearby as well eg Warwick Castle, Cadbury World, East Midlands Safari Park, Wyre woods, I highly recommend and would happily return!
