James “This property was probably the cleanest one that we have visited.”
Thank you. There were no surprises and everything worked as expected. Thanks for responding quickly to our discovery that the iron was broken. The adjacent Windlass cafe was a bonus- nice people and good value food and drinks. An enjoyable stay.
- James, June 2024Wendy “The accommodation had everything we needed.”
Facilities were very good. Lots of information was in the accommodation regarding where to eat locally and where to visit. Would definitely recommend it and stay there again.
- Wendy, June 2024Gillian “Excellent location for exploring the river and canals.”
Easy walking distance to the town, waterways, riverside pubs and Tesco store.
- Gillian, May 2024Anne “Comfortable apartment in a great location overlooking the canal basin.”
Close to the town with pubs and restaurants nearby if you wish to eat out.
- Anne, May 2024Angela “A lovely apartment with views of the canal basin and it's boats.”
Close to all amenities should you wish to leave the car parked up. Lovely walks along the river, canal and Hartlebury common just to name a few. Bewdley, Whitley Court and Arley Arboretum are just a few lovely local places to visit. Our low mark for accuracy of listing is that the bed is advertised as a king size double, however the property only has a normal double size bed
- Angela, April 2024Terry “Apartment was very good no complaints at all.”
If you are thinking of going for a drink at the pub at the bottom The Angel don’t bother you will be lucky to find it open we went on two successive nights Friday and Saturday at abou 7.45 only to be told they were closing so did not bother anymore.enjoyed the area, plenty of places to visit
- Terry, April 2024Dorothy “Just spent a lovely week away at Stourport on Severn.”
I took my 89 year old mum for a birthday treat. The accommodation was lovely. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of room for the two of us. There were plenty of tea bags, coffee and things like oil, salt, pepper, vinagar etc. Sadly no milk but that really wasn't an issue as there is a Tesco within easy walking distance. Met some of the neighbours too, who were very friendly and helpful. We loved sitting on the balcony watching the swans and ducks. Stourport is beautiful. Just round the corner from the appartment is a lovely cafe where we lunched several times, and the canal basin and park are a stones throw away. Plenty of choice with many restaurants, pubs and cafes. We loved strolling by the river and canals and through the patk. Beautifil Bewdley is a few minutes drive away, and the museum gardens are well worth a visit. I would also highly recommend a visit to the ruins of nearby Whitley Court with its beautiful fountain and church with amazing Baroc ceiling. The cafe is also well worth a visit. We also visited Strattford on Avon and saw Loves Labours Lost at the Royal Shakespear Theatre, which was hilarious. Such a lovely place with so many leisurely walks along river and canal. So glad we visited. Thank you for a great stay.
- Dorothy, April 2024Barrie “A comfortable, stylish, well-equipped apartment in a super location, with welcoming owners; and handy for the many amenities of Stourport-on-Severn, or for exploring Worcestershire.”
Had a great time there, over Christmas!
- Barrie, December 2023Colin “The apartment is excellent, perfect location, close to restaurants and pubs, beautiful setting close to the water.”
Very comfortable.
- Colin, December 2023Kathy “Lovely location, Good transport links.”
Well equipped apartment nice and clean.
- Kathy, November 2023Kevin “This apartment is in a good location very near to shops and restaurants and many pubs.”
Some have music on a weekend and they have a really good choice of real ales which we enjoy. All very friendly as well. The apartment has everything you need to make your stay comfortable and cosy. There are plenty of places nearby to visit as well. We had a lovely time and would definitely return.
- Kevin, November 2023John “Your details on Sykes leaflets included a DVD.”
There was not one available. We had brought some DVD's with us and were a little disappointed that we could not use them. On the other hand the smart T.V, was much better set up than at other places so it partially compensated.
- John, September 2023Frank “This is a great property in the middle of town so everything close enough to walk to.”
Stourport has a good range of pub's most with food, and lots for kids to do.
- Frank, July 2023Mark “A lovely clean apartment in a fantastic village,we had a great time visiting kiddiminster,Worcester,Bewdley , iron bridge and Ludlow, the apartment has got everything you need and will definitely be back probably the best place me and my wife have stayed.”
Mark ,Bec .
- Mark, July 2023Mandy “Lovely apartment has everything you need.”
Good location for visiting the nearby steam railways which was the purpose of this holiday as my husband is an enthusiast. If I was to be petty I would say that the apartment got very hot and was hard to cool down. We took two fans and was extremely glad we did. Some kind of air con might be needed in the future perhaps. The little flies/bugs that are drawn towards the lights at night. On the last night we forgot to close the curtains in the bedroom whilst going for showers. When we went to go to bed the bedroom light had hundreds of bugs around it but they were also on the bed. The hoover came out and we turned the light off and put the lounge light on to try and draw them into that room. Luckily bugs don’t really bother us and we expected it being near water and felt it was our own doing. But maybe one of those bug lights would be a good idea for the future? We did get a slight sewerage smell in the en suite a couple of times. But nothing bleach couldn’t put a stop to and had been provided. On the whole this was a lovely apartment, clean and well kept with amazing art work and clean soft bedding and towels. Bathrooms that had great showers that worked really well, good pressure. Kitchen had everything you would need. Lovely walks along the water side. Loads of canal boats and other boats. People extremely friendly. Loads of nearby attractions. Would we stay again? Of course!! Thank you
- Mandy, June 2023Eileen “We stayed here last year and loved it .”
We returned this week and loved it even more. Flat was immaculate. We visited the Black Country Museum, Cadbury World, Birmingham Botanical Gardens and Sea World. We had a beautiful Sunday lunch at The Wharf and had the best fish and chips at Stourport Chippy.
- Eileen, May 2023Spencer “Down for work for a week.”
Have stayed in many locations in the area and this is as good as any. Great location, clean and tidy. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Good communication for Sykes. Would stay again
- Spencer, May 2023Pauline “Beautiful location with lots to see and do nearby.”
The flat is clean and comfortable but I would suggest not really suitable for 4 adults sharing as the 2nd bedroom is quite small and the dining arrangements are very cramped. Be prepared for the dawn chorus of ducks and birds on the canal and the nearby clock tower striking the hour all through the night!
- Pauline, April 2023Thank you for your feedback I’m glad you found the apartment to be clean and comfortable… We take extra care to ensure that the photographs and description are a true reflection of the space we have on offer, we have dedicated more space to a comfortable lounge and a full size functional kitchen which means that the dining space is a two seater table and 2 bar stools at the breakfast bar… when we refurbished the apartment we assumed people would either spend some day’s eating out or if guests do dine in they’d eat and then move to the comfort of the sofas in the lounge. Your constructive feedback will be taken into account the next time we look to do a refit of the space Thank you again Property Owner
John “Well equipped flat in perfect location close to the town facilities with lovely riverside and canal walks.”
The highlight for us was a visit to the nearby Hartlebury Castle. The history was so well presented and The Museum of Worcester was also on site which was included in the entry price. Really too much to see in one visit! Thank you Owners we have had a lovely week.
- John, April 2023So glad you enjoyed your time with us, your right hartlebury castle is a wonderful little known attraction, hopefully you’ll return soon as there’s lots more local destinations to visit …. Property Owner
John “Great location from which to explore Worcestershire”
- John, March 2023Frank “Due to unforseen circumstances we needed to find accommodation in Stourport and took to various sites including Booking.”
Com and Google maps. The former showed this Sykes Cottages property at the same cost as booking direct which should always be the way to reserve property. That said we were bowled over at the ease of booking, the access and - most importantly - the accommodation itself. Well laid out, spacious and with a side view down to the canal marina. The flat was spotless with everything you could require for your needs. The double room with its en-suite bathoroom and shower, the separate twin room and a second bathroom with bath and shower. The kitchen area very well laid out with all necessary electrical equipment too. You also have your own parking space directly outside the property so no problems trying to find anywhere to leave the car. In the immediate area you have 3 restaurants with one a minute's walk away that serves fantastic breakfasts. The other two just a few more minute's walk onto the canal basin and other food outlets just the other side of the showground (which is far enough away not to create any noise problem. A 5 minute walk, or a couple of minutes in car is Tesco and slightly further is a Lidl if supplies are required. Lastly, going back to choices of accommodation, the cost of this for 4 persons was very similar to that for boikng two rooms in a local B&B however, with the extra room to relax in your very own home-from-home with two comfy settees. Just a final reminder - please book through Sykes Cottages direct rather than other sites.
- Frank, March 2023Thank you so much for your comprehensive feedback, we're delighted you enjoyed your stay with us. Property Owner
Alan “Lovely view.”
Bed very comfortable, Wi-Fi worked great, no problem with the TV or any of the electrical devices. Great location with easy walking to grocery store, high street, and river. Wonderful pub (Angel Inn) 3 minutes' walk on the riverside had a great Sunday lunch but make sure you book in advance. Flat had everything we needed although clothes drying rack would be nice when you don't want to use the dryer. Only one very minor problem with parking our somewhat larger rental car in the assigned space being next to the apartment brick wall.
- Alan, February 2023Thank you for your feedback, I'll arrange to have a small airer made available in the property so that other guests may also benefit. Property Owner
Gaynor “This apartment was great for us.”
The beds were comfortable as was the furniture in the lounge. There was plenty of space and the kitchen had all the pots and pans etc we needed for our stay. Parking outside the flat was very straightforward with no problems finding it. The location of Windermere was perfect, overlooking the canal basin and a very easy walk into town for its local shops and pubs. We made full use of being next to the canal and river with good walks along both. This area is an undiscovered gem, with very interesting towns such as Bridgnorth on the doorstep.
- Gaynor, February 2023Thank you so much for your feedback, we’re delighted you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again in the future. Property Owner
Barrie “We enjoyed another super stay at this smart and well equipped apartment, in a fun location, and run by caring owners.”
- Barrie, December 2022Lynne “The apartment was modern, very clean and tidy, warm, with very comfortable beds, and everything we needed was provided Good location near the river, overlooking the marina in a very quiet part of Stourport.”
- Lynne, November 2022Janine “Fabulous apartment with everything you need for a comfortable break away.”
- Janine, November 2022Ian “We had a lovely stay at No.”
5 Windermere. The facilities are top notch. We ate out all the time at some very nice restaurants but if you wanted to self cater with four adults it would not be suitable.
- Ian, October 2022Thank you so much for your feedback, we are delighted you were pleased with the property, just to clarify there is a full kitchen within 5 Winderemere so self catering is absolutely possible and many of our guests do choose to cook some of the time…. Perhaps your comment related to 4 people sitting together around the dining table, this is more difficult due to space constraints the arrangements are 2 at the table and two at the breakfast bar, this is shown in the photographs which hopefully give a true reflection of the space. Property Owner
Laura “Lovely property in a great location.”
It had everything we needed for a very comfortable and enjoyable week’s stay. Communication was excellent and the welcome card and biscuits a thoughtful touch.
- Laura, September 2022Thank you for your wonderful feedback, we’re delighted you enjoyed your stay and look forward to welcoming you again in the future Property Owner
Angela “Beautiful accommodation very homely, modern and very clean, great location close to the amenities.”
- Angela, August 2022Pat “Lovely apartment and situated very close to the river, and amenities.”
Apartment has everything you need, very comfortable beds, nice bedding. Added bonus having designated car parking space, I would like to mention that the hot water temperature is far to hot, nearly scalding temperature, need’s adjusting, Enjoyed our stay , very relaxing few days
- Pat, August 2022Thank you for the feedback on the hot water, I’ll definitely get the temperature checked. Property Owner
Vivian “The shower cubicle needs treating with HG Mould spray to kill black mould and soap residue.”
A very easy fix. Sofa is getting a bit soft and probably needs upgrading. Dining table is not suitable for 4. Otherwise a lovely apartment.
- Vivian, July 2022Michael “Perfect location to see the canal boats .”
5 mins from town centre , lots of eating places very near a d central for visiting other interesting things. Marked parking place very handy. Loved the view from the balcony.
- Michael, June 2022Susan “Excellent apartment.”
Everything you need and more. Very clean. Linen especially so. Location perfect for the river and town and eateries. Our second stay here and would come again if staying in Stourport. Very quiet location.
- Susan, June 2022Bryan “A very pleasant apartment with views over water In a good location within a comfortable walk of the town centre.”
Dedicated parking space was a bonus.
- Bryan, June 2022Lynn “A lovely clean & comfortable apartment very well equipped & in a beautiful setting”
- Lynn, May 2022Thank you so much for your lovely review, we’re delighted you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again in the future. Property Owner
Shirley “Only things that was below par was the staining inside the kettle !”
Had to microwave water for drinks ! And something wrong with freezer but as we didn’t use it didn’t bother us ,we ate out apart from breakfast toast . Lovely apartment, beautiful position and views ! Second time we have been so you can see loved it ! And so much to do in the area ! A big must is West Midlands safari park wonderful for all ages ! Fantastic experience !
- Shirley, May 2022Hi Mrs W, I’m so sorry about the issues you experienced, I’ll get the staining in the kettle investigated and sorted out, I’ll also check the freezer it’s usually a little iced up due to not having been closed properly….. thank you for raising the issue and giving us the chance to sort it out. I’m delighted you enjoy the area and hopefully we’ll see you again in the future. Property Owner
Eileen “We are seasoned self-caterers and No 5 Windemere fulfilled our needs and more.”
It appears in our top 5 places to stay. We have already booked this property for the same week next year.
- Eileen, May 2022Thank you so much for your positive feedback, we’re delighted you enjoyed your stay and very much look forward to welcoming you back next year. Property Owner
Linda “Well equipped comfortable apartment, great location walking distance to river and canal footpaths, town centre shops, pubs etc.”
Large Tesco within walking distance. Apartment great for two people but would be rather small and squashed for four adults. Owner prompt and helpful answers to any queries. Lovely peaceful setting all windows and balcony overlooking canal basin with ducks and swans.
- Linda, May 2022Hi Linda, Thank you so much for your feedback, hopefully the photographs of the apartment give a true representation of the space on offer, many people use the apartment as a base to explore the local area so its just enough for their needs. Hopefully we'll see you again in the future Michelle Property Owner
Jennie “Enjoyable break, apartment as described, well equipped and in a good central location.”
- Jennie, March 2022Thank you for your review, we're delighted you enjoyed your stay and look forward to hosting you again in the future. Property Owner
Michael “A comfortable, lovely situated apartment, which was excellent value for money.”
However, not really suitable for 4 adults as there is only a small table with 2 chairs in the corner plus 2 stools at the breakfast bar making it impossible to have dinner together. Also, unable to close the door to bedroom 2 without moving the bed. Tried to contact the owner but found that both our phones were barred ! No Alexa and other complaints had not been addressed.
- Michael, February 2022Dear Mr S. Initially please accept my apologies in terms of you being unable to contact me, my phone is on 24/7 I'm receiving calls on this number all day every day so I'm not sure why you weren't able to get in touch with me. I'm so sorry you didn't feel the apartment was conducive to accommodating 4 guests, we have used the exact same layout for the past four years and have received numerous compliments, at the end of the day its a 2 bedroom apartment so we are slightly limited in terms of what we can offer, we've made every effort to maximise the space we do have to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction. I will ensure that the beds in the twin room are always in a position for the door to be closed without the guests having to move them, thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. Property Owner
Lisa “An amazing, spacious, two bedroom apartment in a fantastic location.”
The communication with the owners was outstanding.
- Lisa, February 2022Thank you for your feedback, we're delighted you enjoyed your stay Property Owner
Glynis “The flat was very well appointed and very comfortable.”
Everything you needed was provided. Great to feed the ducks from the balcony trying to avoid the seagulls. Plenty of lovely walks nearby.
- Glynis, October 2021Sue “Better dining chairs, could not get on breakfast stools had to use Patio chairs, but other than that it was perfect”
- Sue, October 2021Peter “A bright and tidy apartment in a perfect location overlooking the canal basin.”
Situated in a quiet area close to the town centre, with supermarkets, pubs and a wide range of takeaways all just a short walk away, plus a good café almost next door. Note that the listing for this property is incorrect as the double bed is definitely NOT a king size (we measured it as 4'6) and Alexa was nowhere to be found.
- Peter, September 2021Linda “The directions are misleading : 'turn left after Tesco' would be better as ' ...”
The directions are misleading : 'turn left after Tesco' would be better as ' turn left at traffic lights by Tesco' Also, there was no welcome pack - not even milk which I think is the least you should expect these days
- Linda, September 2021Patricia “We had a lovely stay in a lovely apartment, we were there to celebrate my sisters golden wedding anniversary, and she loved everything about the area especially how picturesque it was…will definitely be returning, best holiday we have had in the UK.”
- Patricia, August 2021Sian “Beautiful apartment in a lovely location, perfect for long walks along the canal and river, plenty of pubs to stop at to enjoy the views, particularly around the canal basin.”
Kitchen had everything you could need. TV was a bit erratic kept losing signal and Alexa didn't work at all (not a great problem was just looking forward to trying it out!). Just a couple of little maintenance issues that need to be sorted out - inside handle on front door is very loose and toilet seat in the bathroom is very loose also. Apart from those very minor issues a great stay, lots of information available for days out and eating options. Supermarkets within 5/10 minutes walk. Great to sit out on the balcony in the evening and watch the ducks!
- Sian, July 2021Frank “Nice apartment as advertised, very easy access to the town and all amenities.”
- Frank, June 2021Jonathan “The apartment was just what was needed.”
It had everything you could want. Kitchen was fully equipped, bedrooms were comfortable and the view from the balcony over the canal basin was lovely. Stourport has lots do with plenty of places to walk and see and also with easy roads to Bewdley, droitwich and worcester. One improvement would be the directions to access the car park should be made more simple with access off cheapside rather than going off the postcode. One small grumble off what was a great little get away.
- Jonathan, May 2021Chris “A lovely place to stay.”
Well furnished apartment, very clean and modern. Plenty to do within 20 miles ,and some good local pubs and restaurants.
- Chris, October 2020Peter “This was a well appointed apartment with good views over the canal basins and marina.”
Only a short walk to the town centre and to local supermarkets as well as the usual takeaways. There were plenty of delightful and peaceful walks along the canal and river banks and out into the countryside. The small town of Stourport is very pleasant with lots of evidence of its Georgian heritage. Whilst the apartment was generally well cared for we were disappointed with a lack of attention to detail in the cleaning. There were thick build ups of dirt in the corners of window sills. The fridge was dirty and we had to clean it our before we used it. The freezer was so encrusted with ice that most of the drawers would not open. The microwave was dirty internally and there was rust inside the door. We chose not to use it. Not the standard that we have become used to with Sykes Cottages. Nevertheless, we had a wonderful holiday.
- Peter, October 2020Paul “Apartment was great as is the location set on the marina.”
Ideally located for visiting local and nearby attractions. Would recommend the following Worcester, Great Malvern, Ludlow, Bewdley to mention a few. Town has numerous takeaways and pubs. Well worth a visit and we even had a week of uninterrupted sunshine!!!
- Paul, September 2020Jason “The apartment was excellent, well maintained and very modern and clean.”
It was ideally placed for Stourport-on-Severn and lots of walks close by.
- Jason, August 2020Paul “Everything was as expected.”
- Paul, February 2020John “Amazing apartment, there is nothing more you could ask for.”
That's why we have booked it for all of January 2021.
- John, January 2020Maggie “An amazing apartment.”
Everything you could want. Extremely handy for shops, pubs, restaurants and lovely walks.
- Maggie, December 2019Jean “Shortage of restaurants open in the evening during the winter months.”
- Jean, November 2019Pamela “As always the apartment was clean, comfortable, and a good place to stay.”
This is our 4th time at the apartment as its so handy for visiting relatives and friends and exploring the area. We shall be booking again.
- Pamela, November 2019Grahame “The apartment was very clean.”
Everything you needed was there. We were a party of 4 adults and the two separate bathrooms were ideal and just as we had hoped for. Our two friends were from France and they also thought it was superb. The Alexa was the star attraction. We used it to play English and French music. Very useful for translations at times. Wonderful area and despite the bad weather (heavy rain most days) we enjoyed out daily outings.
- Grahame, September 2019Julie “This apartment is well laid out, very well equipped and furnished to a very high standard throughout.”
The beds are very comfortable, with luxury bedding and have ample wardrobe space in both bedrooms. Both bathrooms, one with a shower over the bath are a good size. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony, especially in the evening to watch the sunset. Perfect location for walking along the tow path, river banks or visiting the many attractions further afield by car or bus.
- Julie, August 2019Richard “Great apartment in a great location”
- Richard, June 2019Shirley “Comfortable apartment, unfortunately Alexa had lost the connection which we could not restore.”
We also discovered marks on both bedding and towels which if we had dspotted earlier we would have made contact with listed number about. The apartment would benefit from little extras such as dish cloths, dishwasher tablets and extra crockery, as despite there only being two of us we had to put the dishwasher on every day, which we felt very wasteful!
- Shirley, June 2019Susan “Fantastic apartment.”
Great facilities. Amazon Alexa was an added bonus and great fun to use. Nice and quiet area with lovely views of the canal basin. Would recommend this holiday base and would definitely go back.
- Susan, May 2019Nigel “Apartment is well-situated for the dining and drinking venues around the harbour basin.”
Good view of the basin from the balcony - nice to sit out with a glass of wine. Well-equipped flat with reasonable storage space for food with ful-size fridge and freezer units. Dining area a little strange, with two chairs at a breakfast bar and then another two chairs around a round table. This meant that two diners have their backs to the others. Bedroom 2 (twin beds) a little tight to access, but comfortable bed linen in both rooms (although duvet a little hot for the end of May). Large, Smart TV with Amazon Echo (?) unit behind - our son loved asking Alexa to tell him a joke (secretly, so did I !). Apartment very clean throughout. Will definitely return to this flat if we visit Stourport-in-Severn again.
- Nigel, May 2019Shirley “The only thing is the twin bedroom door wouldn’t close because bed was in the way !”
! But as only for two of us no problem . Everything else was above our expectation .lovely place , views great and so near canals and basin . Close to so many attractions, thoroughly enjoyed our holiday !! And will be using you again !!!
- Shirley, May 2019Chris “Very comfortable base to discover Worcestershire.”
Apartment is in a lovely setting with pubs and restaurants close by.
- Chris, May 2019Jean “Lovely apartment with first class equipment.”
Nice view from balcony helped by the excellent weather we had. Good to have Netflix and Alexa!!
- Jean, April 2019David “Musty smell in en suit shower room.”
- David, March 2019Karen “Very comfortable accommodation, good base for visiting lots of interesting places, also great amenities in walking distance.”
- Karen, March 2019Wayne “Couldn't fault it happy with everything”
- Wayne, March 2019Haydn “We have been using Sykes for many years and this property is one of the best that we have come across.”
Everything in the apartment was of top quality and even had a television you could see very important if you are a rugby fan and Wales are playing England (Wales won by the way). Many thanks to the owners of the property for the way it was presented.
- Haydn, February 2019Andrew “We stayed at 5 Windermere over the Christmas period (2018) and could not fault the apartment one bit.”
It was spotlessly clean throughout with a modern kitchen, a first rate TV, fresh towels and linen and a really comfortable bed. The view from the apartment was an added bonus for us. All in all we had a really peaceful 5 days of chilling out. Would highly recommend.
- Andrew, December 2018Judith “We had a very enjoyable holiday in a very nice apartment.”
- Judith, December 2018Pamela “Very clean, very comfortable, close to the river and town, beautiful bed linen, top of the range fittings, well equipped kitchen, yes very pleased.”
Will certainly be booking again next year.
- Pamela, November 2018Tracey “Lovely well equipped and clean apartment.”
Great base for seeing the surrounding areas
- Tracey, October 2018Sally “Excellent flat with lovely canal and river walks nearby.”
Very clean throughout, and comfortable bed. Would suggest that the written "travelling to the property" directions be amended to take accound of the new road "Discovery Way", which avoids the town centre when arriving from Hartlebury Common.
- Sally, September 2018Gill “Lovely comfortable villa.”
Well equipped kitchen TV had intermittent problems with connection toWIFI
- Gill, August 2018Susan “The apartment was very modern and very clean with all appliances and facilities.”
It is in a beautiful location and the surrounding area is lovely. Unfortunately there was an issue with the tv working intermittently and most evenings was not working at all. This was during the World Cup, Wimbledon and the Tour de France which impacted massively on our stay. The owner contacted the engineer who could not replicate the problem and had still not resolved the issue by the end of our holiday.
- Susan, July 2018Arthur “Property ideally situated.”
Easy walking distance from pubs and restaurants yet set in a very quiet location five minutes walk from the River Severn.Allocated parking just outside apartment. Easy walking distance to Tesco supermarket.
- Arthur, June 2018Adrian “First class apartment, in a first class position.”
All amenities are close to hand, but far enough away to keep it peaceful. No expense has been spared, this is a genuine home from home, and the locals are very friendly also
- Adrian, April 2018Alison “Only one slight issue.”
In the listing it says there is a DVD player. Couldn't find one anywhere!! Took lots of DVDs and nothing to play them on....... If we'd known we'd have taken our own, no problem. Maybe update the listing. Otherwise everything was perfect, beautiful view from apartment and surrounding areas just stunning.
- Alison, April 2018Susan “Lovely modern apartment.”
Very clean & comfortable. Nice views of the canal basin. Good base for visiting surrounding area.
- Susan, February 2018Steven “Excellent apartment, spotless, everything you needed and more inside.”
Lovely location on the canal basin with lovely walks and amenities on the doorstep. Had a lovely time and look forward to visting the area again in the future.
- Steven, February 2018Peter “Very Nice Apartment got every thing you need Handy for all amenities”
- Peter, January 2018david “All good”
- david, November 2017Bernadette “The apartment was great, nice and clean, very modern, only downfall was we could hear the tv, next door, at times it was very loud.”
- Bernadette, September 2017Barry “Great location.”
Was only going to do 3 days but a week was so cheap we extended our stay. Plenty to do in the area.

Many individual shops, traditional pubs, restaurants and cafes can be found in and around the town. Visitors to Stourport may choose to take a cruise along the river, enjoy a day's fishing, take a ride on horseback or bike along the many lovely bridleways, or stroll through the heather clad hills, woodlands and heathland of Hartlebury Common, a 200 acre SSSI Nature Reserve on the outskirts of the town.
