“Unfortunately, when we came to use the oven/grill, it was in an unusable condition.”

It was extremely dirty in the bottom off the oven. The tray in the bottom was unwashed. There was food stuck to the top shelf and food / grease left in the grill pan. I had to scrub the grill pan before I was able to use it. I did not attempt to clean the oven as I did not have the means to do so. This meant that I had to use the microwave to cook our meal when we arrived on Friday evening burg this wasn’t ideal. I understand it’s a holiday let and don’t expect the oven to be ‘as new’ ...

I understand it’s a holiday let and don’t expect the oven to be ‘as new’ However, I don’t expect to have to start cleaning as soon as I arrive on holiday! I don’t believe this was checked / cleaned before our arrival. I do have several photos which I would like to send you as evidence. Could you please contact me via email, so that I can submit them, as we did intend making a complaint on our return. Thank you
