“This is lovely accommodation wine and chocolates waiting for us when we arrived.”
It was clean and very well equipped. Warm and comfortable. Great area to explore walks along the river and fields nearby. Although very waterlogged as it was winter.
It was clean and very well equipped. Warm and comfortable. Great area to explore walks along the river and fields nearby. Although very waterlogged as it was winter. Checked to book again but no available dates very sad news. Thank you for a lovely Christmas stay.

“This was our first visit to the Coach House in Swinbrook and we were not disappointed.”
Its a really lovely place to stay, being in a very peaceful and beautiful location. The owners are lovely and are close by should you need them. Thoroughly recommended :-)
“I would not recommend Sykes for one reason only.”
I first booked a week with them in the last week of April which was £812 which included £100 for my four 4 dogs and plus £41 insurance. After booking, within an hour I contacted Sykes again, I had to cancel the week booked, as my sister's 70th birthday will occur during that week in April. The week's break was transferred back to the middle of March, when the week's price was much less.Sykes insisted I had to pay the much more expensive April booking even though the week in March was much less, which means I had to pay £201 more than others spending a week at the same accommodation a week later. For that reason I would not recommend Sykes to anyone.
Many thanks for your feedback, we have taken your comments on board and they will be reviewed. One of our team will be in touch with you shortly. Owner relations
“Lovely welcome from Laura with wine, flowers and chocolates and the personal touch.”
Great location for all parts of the Cotswolds. Lovely local pub and beautiful village.
“The cottage was very comfortable and everything we needed was there.”
Great location with walks from the front door
“The Coach house is a lovely spacious holiday cottage for two, something that's hard to find .”
..we didn't want to spend two weeks in a "chocolate box", however sweet it would be! So that was what we were looking for and what we got. All in all a very pleasant stay, friendly owners, plenty of space for two, easy and safe parking, a quaint English village in a lovely part of the Cotswolds. Some minor issues: no body length mirror, there were plenty of cobwebs when we arrived, the bathroom looked a little tired compared to the rest of the house.
“Beautifully decorated and comfortable, but also practical for dog owners.”
We had everything we needed.
“This is a cottage we have used for a number of years now.”

There are few locations such that can match The Coach House and all that it offers.
Located in the beautiful grounds surrounding of The Old Vicarage, and overlooking the church in the distance this huge, detached barn conversion is a real gem that befits a classic Cotswolds property - the typical postcard scene of England at its finest.
Behind the front door lies an attractive and spacious home, the huge main room with vaulted ceiling and beams is spectacular, cream washed walls, oak flooring and open fire create a warm and special home.
Upstairs, where there are great views to the valley, there's an enormous bedroom, with two extra beds if required*.
Tucked down a little lane within one of the most popular Cotswold's villages - Swinbrook, you really do get a sense of why people love this village and area of the Cotswolds.

About the location
Burford is possibly one of, if not THE most famous of the Cotswolds' locations. With its medieval bridge, old stone houses and attractive Tudor and Georgian frontages, Burford is justifiably one of the most picturesque towns in England. Often referred to as the 'Gateway to the Cotswolds', the town was originally a fortified Anglo-Saxon ford which later grew to be an important regional crossroads and wealthy wool town. Located mid way between Oxford and Cheltenham (25 mins each away) it is a little haven of history and beauty that many come to fall in love with when they visit.
The 16th century Tolsey building, once the meeting place for medieval merchants, now houses The Tolsey Museum, a delightful local museum illustrating the town's social and industrial past. The church is stunning, a real gem architecturally with many interesting memorials charting some of Burford's great families. There is also the signature, on the baptisimal font, of Antony Sedley, one of the Levellers besieged in the church in 1649 - three of the ringleaders were executed by Oliver Cromwell's men in the churchyard. History awaits!
With little changing over the centuries, Burford is now very popular with visitors, both for its beauty and history but also for its shopping and antiques, and for the wide variety of places to eat, with restaurants, pubs and teashops. It is an ideal base for visiting The Cotswolds area as it is within easy driving distance of popular attractions such as Blenheim Palace, Sudley Castle, Warwick Castle and several National Trust Houses and Gardens. Bourton on the Water, Bibury, Cirencester and Stow on the Wold are all with 25 minutes from the property.
