The property

Situated in the heart of Shipton under Wychwood, which itself lies just 3.5 miles north of Burford (one of the Cotswolds most iconic locations), South Lea has recently undergone a complete transformation to provide glorious accommodation for large families or groups of friends. Presented in a cool and contemporary style, the house benefits from having a gorgeous open plan kitchen / dining space - a fantastic place to while away the hours chatting with friends over dinner, two sitting areas - each with sumptuous sofas, large flat screen tv's and log- burners (for those chilly winter evenings): the perfect places to relax and unwind.

The ground floor also provides a lovely bedroom suite, complete with king size bed and en-suite shower facilities. Upstairs you will find 5 bedrooms (one double, two twins, one king size and one super king size) as well as 2 family bathrooms.

Outside you have enclosed gardens both to the front and rear of the property, as well as a generous off road parking area which can accommodate 5 or 6 cars. From the property it's just a short walk to the beautiful Cotswolds countryside where you have mile upon mile of fabulous walks.

However, if your idea of a walk is to take you no further than the pub then please don't worry - you have 3 really good pubs all within a 10 minute walk. Just a short drive away in one direction you have the Medieval town of Burford, with its wealth of cafes, shops and restaurants, and in the opposite direction you are just a 10 minute drive from the bustling market town of Chipping Norton.

The historic town of Woodstock, with Blenheim Palace (the birth place of Winston Churchill) lies just 10 miles away.

You are also within easy reach of the university city of Oxford (20 miles). South Lea truly is the ideal location for friends and families to explore all that this beautiful part of The Cotswolds has to offer.
