We had a lovely stay at the cottage, with a couple of issues, we tried to contact the maintenance phone number but never heard back but we left a note and I’m shaw they will be sorted, the cottage itself is beautiful and in stunning location, also close to lots of walks and other beautiful villages, I would highly recommended this to other families and would definitely return Thank you for a lovely week

Lovely cottage in a great location.

Quiet village with a brilliant pub at the end of the road (Crown Inn) where we enjoyed afternoon drinks and a delicious meal. However, our weekend was spoiled by the poor standard of cleaning. None of the bedsheets had been changed. They had sweat stains, blood stains, hair, bits of skin etc. The towels were clean but several were stained and there weren't enough of them for our group. Lots of hair on the rugs and bed throws. Dirty cups in the cupboards, etc. We reported this to Sykes, called their helpline, and also tried to contact the cleaners but no one has responded. I raised another complaint after returning from the trip but that was more than a week ago and still no word. A real shame - the cottage was nice otherwise.

Some things were very wrong.

The phone provided did not respond to our calls or WhatsApp. The upper bathroom water didn't come out, it didn't have pressure or come out hot so we couldn't shower. We were locked inside because we didn't know how to open the door and no one answered the calls. There was a very dirty pillow. Lack of cleanliness in the kitchen
