What guests are saying
The property looked tired and could do with painting/decorating throughout.
There were handles missing off of drawers and cupboards. There was only x1 hand towel for four of us. Not much loo roll and the kitchen crockery and utensils there was all mismatched the blinds weren’t great in one of bedrooms either.
We had a lovely stay at Victoria cottage.
The kitchen is well equipped and the bathrooms are nice with decent hot showers. The stairs are quite steep our eighty two year old friends found them difficult to climb.
On arrival the parking was easy in front of the property.
The house was very comfortable with plenty of utensils in the kitchen and everywhere was clean. There was a couple of issues in the house when we arrived the fridge and freezer had been switched off and the milk that was left for us had gone off and was curdled, the blind in the twin bedroom is broken, the cooker hood is loose and in danger of falling off, one of the cupboard doors in the bedroom unit is off its hinges, the window in the bathroom wouldn't open. Having said that the house is in a good position for exploring nearby beautiful villages and an easy drive to Blenheim Palace. There are some good eating establishments in the village. I would stay at this property again.
