    “Wow, what a beautiful cottage so comfortable and spacious.”

    Felt very at home and was perfect for us. The owner lived next door and left some welcoming gifts which was a lovely touch. Definitely would recommend this place, it is a little gem in the Cotswolds.

Stow Cottage Barn, a wonderful two-bedroom 19th-century barn conversion located in Churchill, near Kingham in Oxfordshire, is a stunning property.

Located in the Cotswolds Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a former 19th-century barn and steam mill, Stow Cottage Barn is ideal for a group or family of five and their small canine companion looking to explore the area's natural beauty.

Make your way into the open-plan living area, where you can prepare a great meal for your guests using the well-equipped kitchen's electric range oven, induction hob, microwave, and handy dishwasher, all of which will make cleaning-up a breeze!

Serve up a delicious meal at the dining table, as the wine is poured, and plans are made for the days ahead.

Take advantage of the warmer weather and fire up the barbecue as you savour your favourite tipple outside on the enclosed patio.

As the evening cools, why not snuggle up on the sofa with your loved ones in the warmth of the woodburning stove before selecting a much-loved film from the Smart TV.

Soothe tired eyes with a rest in one of two well-appointed bedrooms, a super-king bedroom (zip and link bed which can be a twin on request) with Smart TV and en-suite bathroom as well as a single couch bed that can accommodate another visitor, which can be found on the first floor.

A second super-king-size bedroom (zip and link bed which can be a twin on request) with an en-suite shower room is located on the second floor, where you can indulge in a refreshing shower and pamper ahead of a day of adventures.

Indulge in a pub meal and enjoy the local brews at the famed Chequers pub, which is just a short walk away, along with Churchill and Sarsden Heritage Centre where you can learn more about your area's history.

Stow Cottage Barn is just a short drive from the charming village of Kingham, which is home to two excellent pubs, the renowned Daylesford Organic Farm Shop, and a well-stocked convenience shop where you can stock up on goods to recreate your favourite holiday foods.

Once you've finished in Chipping Norton, be sure to take the kids to the Fairytale Farm, which has a petting zoo and gardens themed around fairy tales.

You can also check out the historic Almshouses and the infamous Diddly Squat Farm Shop, which was featured on the hit television show Clarksons Farm.

Heythrop Zoological Gardens is a great place for the whole family to spend a fantastic day, where you can interact with exotic creatures and even have a sloth experience.

Stow-on-the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh, two of the most iconic Cotswold towns, are both within easy walking distance, and both provide a diverse selection of dining options and boutique stores that are sure to appeal to walkers.

KINGHAM

Chipping Norton 4 miles; Stow-on-the-Wold 5 miles

Kingham has been voted England's favourite village and is beautifully situated in the heart of the Cotswolds between Chipping Norton, Stow-on-the-Wold and Burford. It has an abundance of historical buildings and is referenced in the Doomsday Book. Most of the village is constructed from traditional Cotswold Stone. The village hosts two awarding pubs - The Kingham Plough on the Green and The Wild Rabbit voted Michelin Pub of the Year in 2016. Daylesford Organic farm shop, cookery school and spa is 5 minutes away. There are numerous other gastro pubs and restaurants which are easily accessible from Kingham by foot, bike or car.

Note: For the comfort of future guests, we ask that dogs remain downstairs, stay off the furniture and that no trace of a dog remains after your departure.
