The property

This charming, historic detached single storey dwelling is residing in Milcombe, Oxfordshire.

Once a blacksmith's workshop, the property has been finished to a high standard and showcases rustic original features, whilst being a superb dwelling for a couple looking to escape to the Cotswolds.

A private off-road parking space awaits you on the gravel drive, before you enjoy an alfresco coffee on the bench outside.

The market town of Banbury is less than six miles away, home to a good selection of shops, convenience stores and pubs, as well as a museum & gallery, arts centre and pretty park.

Close by, the fortified manor house of Broughton Castle is surrounded by parkland and boasts pristine gardens that are well-worth exploring.

Further afield, the market town of Chipping Norton provides a gateway into the Cotswolds AONB, alongside a popular weekly market, a fabulous theatre, as well as cafés and welcoming pubs serving food and real ales.
