    “The lodge itself was lovely — spotless, cozy, and with a beautiful view over the lake.”

    A peaceful, well-kept place. Unfortunately, my arrival felt a little rushed and gave the impression that he wanted to finish up quickly. I’d asked for the hot tub not to be heated until the next day, but it was already on. When I messaged to request a reheat the following day, it did reach 40°, but the bottom remained cold — probably not ideal for a chilly winter day. I didn’t feel comfortable asking again, which was a shame.

    Thank you for your feedback — I’m glad you enjoyed the lodge and the peaceful lakeside setting. I’m sorry your arrival felt rushed; as I live onsite, I’m always on hand for any guest queries, so I’m disappointed to hear it came across that way. We always heat the hot tub ready for arrivals, which is why it was warm on check‑in. It was reheated again the following day as requested, and the bottom simply needed a quick stir with the paddle provided to circulate the water evenly.   • Regular weed removal is conducted, and weed rakes are provided at all lodges for guest convenience

Bridge Lake Farm and Fishery is a haven for keen anglers, boasting a breath-taking setting in the lush, rolling Oxfordshire countryside, whilst the lake itself is home to a number of carp, some which are over 20lbs; those looking to catch their personal best have a great chance here! With easy access to the towns of Banbury and Towcester, the area is filled with an abundance of exciting local landmarks and action-packed activities to be enjoyed during your stay. Just a stone's throw away, the town of Bicester is home to one of the most popular shopping outlets in Europe with some of your favourite stores and a wide selection of eateries. Further south, the striking and historical city of Oxford has a plethora of attractions such as the medieval remains of Oxford Castle & Prison, Tower of the Five Orders and many interactive museums offering fun for all!
