The cottage at 3,the green was absolutely beautiful, the cottage was immaculate when we arrived, everything was catered for, the kitchen had adequate equipment, we did struggle a little with the cooker but worked it out eventually

“3 The Green is a lovely comfortable property which we would be happy to stay in again.”

Instructions for some of the appliances would help but we managed to find some on the internet. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery but some more utensils, including a bread knife, would help. However this did not detract from a lovely stay.

“Beautiful cottage.”

There was a lovely welcome pack (a box of biscuits, a large pack of crisps and a bottle of sparkling cordial) waiting for us. Very nice! Thank you. The house was very clean and smelled lovely when we arrived. Comfortable beds. Lovely fluffy white towels. All mod cons but instructions on how to work the oven/ grill and dishwasher would have been useful. The garden is fabulous, albeit not completely secure for dogs due to a few holes in the hedges, so we just had to make sure we went out with our two dogs to supervise them. We had a great week at the property and would highly recommend it.

“Lovely, comfortable and well-equipped cottage.”

We very much enjoyed our stay. Previous comments about lack of wooden spoons in kitchen and dog-escape routes in the garden were helpful (we brought our own spoons and blocked access to the hole in the hedge), thank you for sharing. Very minor feedback just for consideration and not in anyway criticism. A cafetiere would be nice, maybe put a few coasters on the downstairs bedrooms bed wheels as bed slipped a bit on the floor. Also some instructions for dishwasher settings would be useful as it was a bit trial and error. We couldn't locate the switch for the outdoor lighting or the key for the bedroom door (we tried all options), but again this didn't impact on our overall stay.

“Fantastic cottage with beautiful gardens.”

Well equipped house, although some instructions for the appliances would have been useful. No key for the door in the downstairs bedroom. The garden is not secure, our dog escaped into the neighbours garden and nearly onto the road. This made for a stressful time whenever using the garden which did spoil the enjoyment of the garden. Please don’t market this cottage as having a secure garden.

“I think it ought to be highlighted that the garden isn’t secure.”

It’s a beautifully enclosed garden but unfortunately our inquisitive springer spaniel escaped through a hedge on the first day we arrived. Some pint glasses would be beneficial I think. The cottage was clean and smelt lovely when we arrived. There were however some issues with dust on shelves in the kitchen and on the fridge. The duvets and pillows were lovely! The cottage is in a lovely and peaceful location. We had a lovely stay thank you

“We had a really lovely stay at 3, The Green.”

The house was immaculate and clean. The garden was a beautiful sun trap with the added bonus of the summer house for the children to play in. There was a also a park a very short walk away. Really great location to visit nearby towns such as Chipping Norton and to visit the Rollright Stones. The kitchen was well stocked, I would have liked a few wooden spoons and ideally a large saucepan and additional serving dishes but we did fine without them. Highly recommended as a holiday home.

“A very pretty cottage in a picturesque village in the Cotswolds.”

Easily accommodates 6 people, with a downstairs bedroom and toilet for those who struggle with stairs. Very pleasant garden and very clean. The cottage is light, well equipped and tastefully decorated. As advertised, there is no shop or pub in the village, but plenty of these facilities are within a 10 minute drive. A couple of things that would have made our stay perfect:- a couple more pans for cooking and trays, platters and serving dishes for mealtimes ( there were lots of plates, glasses and cups, thank you.) We had quick response from the management company to help us open the summerhouse and the checking in and out system was smooth. It was the top of our price range for a holiday let, but it ticked most of our boxes and our ‘well behaved’12yr old pet was welcome. No.3 The Green was a well cared for ‘home from home’!
