“I came to stay at the Post Master’s Lodgings with my son, daughter-in-law and two granddaughters who had just arrived over from Japan.”

The Post Master’s Lodgings is in the centre of Winchcombe. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was warm, clean and very comfortable. The open plan kitchen sitting room was spacious light and airy. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. We loved the outlook over the streets and rooftops of Winchcombe from the bedroom windows. We found Winchcombe a delightful place to be in - full of history and interesting shops. We loved the outlook over the streets and rooftops of Winchcombe from the bedroom windows. We found Winchcombe a delightful place to be in - full of history and interesting shops. Winchcombe is an also a good centre from which to visit the Cotswolds and Cheltenham. We did not find the lack of parking a problem. The short walk to the public car park was not too far or too inconvenient. It was good to stay in a place that had history and character and I can recommend The Post Master’s Lodgings.

Visitors can sample a mouthwatering array of local produce in the town's restaurants, wine bars, tea shops and deli's, or stroll around the eclectic range of local shops, all located along the three main streets, which remain full of character with their honey coloured stone and timbered exterior. The town also plays host to music and arts festivals, country shows and farmers’ markets.
