If total peace and beautiful views appeal, then Lake View is for you - a striking lakeside holiday home at the Lower Mill Estate which is perfect for families and friends.
Located deep within this 500 acre nature reserve, on the Cotswold Water Park, this uber-cool detached house enjoys an uninterrupted view across the lake with direct access also a key feature.
Inside the property is presented in pale and natural colours, with the main feature the huge glass wall on the first floor living area which give you those breathtaking, bird's eye views - for 365 days of the year you'll be spellbound just as we were when we visited.
What bliss to recline on the balcony or decking and absorb the watery scene!
A smart sweep of sofa fronts the wood-burning stove and flat-screen TV.
Everything is done in perfect taste, with a scattering of paintings, prints, books and magazines to make you feel at home.
Outside , as well as your private deck down to the lake shore, you can make use of the on-site facilities, which include membership of the ArtSpa (gym, sauna, spa, steam room, three pools).
You can walk to the pub, while the honey-stoned loveliness of the Cotswolds is a short drive or cycle ride away.
