A lovely little cottage situated in an idyllic area.

Thoroughly enjoyed our week’s stay.

Beautiful quaint cottage, on a working farm/stables.

. cottage was immaculately clean, very well equipped, nice and warm and a fab shower. Great having a cloakroom toilet downstairs. We loved our stay, we were made very welcome. We booked to stay for the races, approx 35/40 minute walk to the race course and 40/45 into Cheltenham town centre. There is a bus that goes to Cheltenham from the bottom of the access lane ( every 30 minutes, bus N) and another that takes you to the bottom end of the village, then turns back towards Cheltenham. Pubs in the village are great, very welcoming

The Old Cider House is small but plenty big enough for two people.

lt is comfortable , well equipped and peaceful. It's in a great position for walking and visiting the area. The Old village of Prestbury is pretty and has convenient pubs.

Had a lovely stay, warm and friendly welcome, the cottage was very peaceful, clean and had everything you could possibly need to enjoy a relaxing holiday.

Situated in a location that gave easy enough travel to get out to the surrounding cotswolds area. Not so good if someone had mobility issues as it is situated on a farm and there are stairs to the bedroom, also the footway from the parking area to the cottage is quite narrow for someone who had less mobility than some but was still able to climb stairs. Would stay there again if we are back to the cotswolds. Lovely people, it was a pleasure to meet them

We had a very enjoyable stay in this lovely homely and very well equipped cottage.

Our host, Carolyn has created a comfortable holiday home with everything you could possibly need to feel at home. It's a perfect base to relax and enjoy the Cotswolds. We highly recommend The Old Cider House.

A lovely little cottage, very well situated: so near Cheltenham yet on a farm in the countryside.

The horses on the farm are beautiful, so many different breeds and colours. The owners were welcoming. The cottage was everything we hoped for, except for one small problem: the chairs were too low for us. I guess it's the perfect cottage for people who are a bit shorter than us!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Old Cider House, nice cosy place and Carolyn was a lovely host and we appreciated the welcome bottle of wine.

A great base for all our walking, only tiny thing was that we found the bed a little hard to sleep in. All in all a lovely little place to stay!

A delightful cottage- very comfortably furnished and well- equipped.

Set adjacent to the most welcoming owners’ historic house ,amid apple and walnut trees,the Old Cider House is ideally suited for those wanting a peaceful break. Everywhere in the Cotswolds within easy reach. Carolyn and Brian were attentive and interesting hosts, ensuring we had a most enjoyable holiday.

Very comfortable little cottage.

It’s a very old building, full of character, but everything we needed was there. We were blessed with decent weather and found sitting out on the patio very private, a sun trap. The owners conservatory is very close but we respected each others privacy. The week was topped off with the Western horse riding experience which was brilliant, Brian was very patient with me. All the horses were lovely. Thank you Brian and Carolyn for a great week.

Comfortable, warm and cosy with comfy bed and great shower. Lovely patio area for evening drinks. Carolyn is a great host! We really appreciated the welcome gifts! The western riding introductory afternoon was a bonus. Perfect place to unwind and explore the stunning Cotswolds. Thank you!

The mattress was uncomfortable as were the pillows.

The listing should mention that there is no specific parking at that at times it would be hard to get parked because of the riding school and livery yard. The cottage is quite a muddy walk from parking and you have little.privacy in terms of being able to see and be seen by the owners who often sit in the conservatory very close to the front of the cottage. Their house is also overlooking the side wi does of the cottage. Carolyn was a warm friendly person but I am a private person as many people are so the vicinity of the cottage relation to the owners home is too close and no net curtains which may have helped. The owners dog was quite barky and the space for sitting out was totally overlooked by the owners and they could create a private space for guests by the kitchen window overlooking the brook and a more private and less muddy separate path to the front of the cottage door with designated parking near the back of their garage as a suggestion. Kitchen was well equipped. Good choice of games and books available. Very nice shower. The long mirror in the bedroom. Would not tilt much. I would not reccomend this cottage due to awkward and muddy access to the cottage, lack of dedicated parking space and lack of privacy away from the owner.

Lovely little property with all necessary facilities. Very friendly owner and a great location for exploring Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds. We had a thoroughly enjoyable week.

The Old Ciderhouse is a lovely place to dwell. You are on a working horse farm, so you could come accross some horses. Only minus is the state of the road on the farm. It has some humbs and bumps.

Great host, clean & comfortable and handy for popping into Cheltenham. Ate at The Plough and The Kings Arms - both great. Only issue we had was with the wi-fi which dropped at certain times of the day.

Lovely comfortable bijou cottage .

Great seeing all the lovely horses. Carolyn very warm and helpful. Handy for Cheltenham. . Always very hot water in shower and very handy having a downstairs WC as well as upstairs.

I had a wonderful walking holiday in the Cotswolds.

It was great to come back to the home comforts of the Old Cider House after a long day slogging through the muddy fields. This is a very well appointed property on a working equestrian centre. Friendly and helpful owner. I would highly recommend this property for a solo traveller or couple.

The cottage was lovely.

It was clean and had everything you could need. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed seeing all the horses in the stables as we drove in and out. It's so close to Cheltenham so was easy to get to, but also in the countryside so was relaxing. Would definitely recommend the cottage.

Lovely cosy cottage, ideally situated for sight seeing and for the Cheltenham festival.

Host very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely return.

We had a brilliant time at the Cider House it had everything you needed, the owner Carolyn was very helpful, we walked out several times to eat in the village at two local pubs, very good food in both, we loved the area, the only thing i wanted to do was go riding at the stables there, but I ran out of time.

It had everything that we needed for our time there and was well situated for visiting the surrounding area. Prestbury was a lovely little village. Carolyn made us very welcomed and was helpful with local knowledge. A place to put on our list for a return visit.

A very cosy cottage located in a very convient position for visiting/walking in the Cotswold villages and also visiting Cheltenham.

The cottage had everything we needed and was warm and welcoming particularly on the wet days.. Access to the cottage is through the equestrian centre which can be muddy. Overall, a very enjoyable week and thanks to Carolyn who gave us a very friendly welcome plus a bottle of wine

We had an exceptionally comfortable stay for a week in this well equipped accommodation conveniently situated for Cheltenham and the cotswolds.

Prestbury is a small friendly village and we sampled the hospitality of one of the local pubs, the village stores, bakery and butchers during our stay. The directions to the accommodation were easy to follow and we had good communication with all concerned prior to during and after our visit. Our thanks to the hosts .

Carolyn was an experienced and considerate host and the cottage had all that was needed and nothing superfluous.

It was the perfect cosy base to explore the Cotswolds and beyond. It was lovely to see so many happy horses as we passed through the farm on our way to and from the cottage.

We had a fantastic getaway at the Cider House.

It is a cosy, compact cottage and perfect for a couple. The location is amazing with direct access to some great walking routes. If you like horses, you will be greeted every morning by loads of them. Certainly made a change from London! Would definitely go back.

Friendly and welcoming on arrival.

Cottage was very clean, extremely comfortable and homely, ideal for a quiet and relaxing holiday. Everything available in the cottage that was required for a weeks holiday and the neat patio was a bonus if you are lucky enough to get the weather that we did. Nicely situated to explore a lovely area of the country. Nice easy walks close by and from the cottage itself. Would thoroughly recommend it and I'm sure we shall return. Thank you !

Lovely comfortable and homely cottage. Quiet, rural location and close to the Cotswold Way for walking. One small negative, the tiny sink in the bathroom was not easy to use for washing and shaving.

Very pleased with the cottage clean and comfortable.

Only drawback was the drive up to the cottage was very uneven with large pot holes making a very bumpy ride and not doing the vehicle a lot of good.

Nice central location for visiting Cotswold attractions.

The cider house at the Noverton farm, a great place to escape this busy world for a week or two.

Ideal to get to all the places of intrest in the Cotswolds, plenty to do and see,I would recommend this little gem of a place to anyone who wants a good holiday, away from all the stress of the modern world.The owners of the cider house,couldn't do enough to make our stay really enjoyable,Such lovely peaple. Can't thank them enough for looking after us.

the house was so cosy and in a very quiet location but brilliant for us to go exploring the Cotswolds via the main roads, to witch was good ,as dont really do country lanes.Lol.but yes will be coming here to stay again.

This is a lovely cottage with a friendly host.

It’s small downstairs, but the bedroom is roomy. We found the bathroom sinks very small. Reminder: it is on a working horse farm. It was a cozy traditional cottage and we enjoyed our week there.

The cottage was delightful, cosy and really well-equipped.

It was set in beautiful surroundings and Carolyn the owner was extremely friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be making a return visit !

For a small cottage for two people, it was very well laid out and actually felt quite roomy.

There was good wardrobe and drawer space, better than some larger properties which we have stayed in. We liked the bright downlights available in the living room which made reading very easy and which is often lacking in other properties! The only slight drawback was that the hand basins in both the en-suite shower room and the downstairs toilet were very small for anything but hand washing. It was a very nice situation and Carolyn, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would recommend the Old Cider House.

We had a wonderful holiday in the historic Old Cider Press cottage.

The owner was very welcoming and friendly and the cottage is equipped to a really high standard and very comfortable for two people. We were there in the middle of a heatwave but the thick walls kept the cottage cool. The location on the edge of Prestbury makes it very handy for the Park and Ride into the lovely Regency town of Cheltenham and also for exploring the surrounding Cotswold villages. We also visited the local nature reserves which are a haven for rare butterflies. We would definitely recommend this property.

Old Cider House is a beautiful cottage on the grounds of a 12th century magnificent house in a lovely quiet spot in the Cotswolds.

The home was very cosy and clean and had everything one would need. Carolyn ,the owner made us very welcome and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We were blessed with wonderful weather and enjoyed our evenings ,drinking wine sitting in the picturesque garden. A charming well-equipped cottage with everything you need, an ideal base for touring the Cotswolds, A warm welcome from the owners with a bowl of fresh fruit and milk in the fridge.

Lovely surrounding garden and nice walks. Sunshine was an added bonus. Loved it !

The part of the lane which passes the stables leave a lot to be desired drains need repairing the property and mrs Sinnott were great thank you
