“We had a brilliant stay at Thorndale Barn to celebrate my Mum’s 70th birthday.”

The house is perfect for hosting a family celebration and the open plan set up meant we could all be together, at the dinner table or in the living area.

The house is perfect for hosting a family celebration and the open plan set up meant we could all be together, at the dinner table or in the living area. We were greeted with a delicious home made lemon drizzle cake and a beautiful bouquet of flowers and when we met Rosie, the owner, she she gave us all the information we needed and couldn’t have been more helpful. Overall, we had a wonderful stay in a brilliant location. Thank you!

The property

Thorndale is an outstanding holiday cottage, providing luxury self catering accommodation in one of the prettiest Cotswolds locations.

Walk amongst the hills to the local pubs or watch famous racehorses train on the hills or simply sit in heavenly surroundings and do nothing - and just relax!

Set on a farm which trains top class racehorses on the surrounding land we were simply gobsmacked at the location and accommodation on show.

Inside the open plan living space downstairs and bedrooms upstairs have been designed and presented to an exceptional standard, with a real attention to detail and one fits the building beautifully.

Oak flooring, huge oak trusses, a handmade kitchen and luxury bathrooms together ooze charm and appeal, while large, deep mattresses in inviting bedrooms ensure a good night's sleep.

Two of the six bedrooms are located in a separate, private barn approx 12 paces from your front door (to the side in the picture).

Together this is a perfect choice for a large group or family who looking to enjoy a quality holiday home in one of the finest Cotswolds areas.

We absolutely loved it when we visited.
