“The beauty of the barn and it's location on the lake are excellent”
“The area under the large coffee table had not been cleaned before we arrived.”
The key safe on the property is not user friendly, having to enter the pin numbers to both open and close is not easy, especially in the dark.\ \ \ (Manor response: these points have been passed to the managing agents, who have assured us that these will be seen to.)
“The cottage was very good with lovely layout and furnishings.”
The setting was great despite the ongoing building works to the right hand view from the balcony which did give some noise through the week days. In comparison to other rental properties we hav
“The barn was beautifully furnished, very comfortable and very well equipped.”
It was very homely and had nice touches, even to the hand painted dishes provided for the dog!! All the linens/towels were immaculate, crisp and pristine which is a nice added bonus.
“A fantastic weeks stay in the cottage.”
The cottage was overall very well equipped for our stay.
Number 8 Howell's Mere is simply amazing - a stunning barn with a unique design and style that makes it one of our favourite properties at the Cotswold Water Park.
Situated right on the edge of the Howell's Mere lake it has peaceful views across the water towards other contemporary properties - all very calm and quiet - in fact we feel it has a Scandinavian style and feel!
Internally the barn is presented in an uncluttered, modern style that is both cool and dramatic creating an attractive and appealing feel to this beautiful corner of the Cotswolds.
From the open plan living area, which is vaulted, you have access to a good sized decked area that is on top of the water with nothing but the odd quack of a duck or moorhen to break the silence.
As you can tell we love this property and feel confident you will too.
