The property

Resting in the peaceful village of Mickleton, Gloucestershire lies Raffinbow Retreat, a charming yet contemporary-styled annex sleeping three guests.

Ideal for a couple of small family, this beautifully-presented annex offers off-road parking and two courtyards perfect for spending the summer months in.

On arrival at the property, leave your car in the driveway and make your way into the cottage where you will step into a bright and airy open-plan living space.

Take advantage of the well-equipped kitchen home to an electric oven and hob, perfect for whipping up tasty meals for your loved ones, along with a handy dishwasher to assist with the cleaning up.

From here, savour your meal at the breakfast bar as you catch up on the day's events, before moving into the sitting area to snuggle in and watch a film as you sink into the plush sofa.

As the evening draws to a close, head off to the bedrooms to rest your eyes ahead of another busy day of exploring; the annex is home to a king-size and a double, each decorated to a high standard and complete with quality furnishings.

Completing the interior of the cottage is a shower room fit with a walk-in shower, a basin and a WC, where you can rinse of the day before climbing into bed.

Guests will benefit from two courtyards at this annex, providing a space for al fresco dining, or even if you just like to escape for your morning coffee in the sun.

Ideally located, Raffinbow Retreat is encompassed by fascinating walks and sites of historical significance.

Just a scenic drive or long and peaceful walk will take you to the popular and picture-perfect town of Chipping Campden, home to delightfully quaint shops, tea rooms, inns and restaurants.

Animal lovers may want to visit All Things Wild, a splendid zoo with camels, farm animals and play areas to keep your younger travellers occupied, as well as a train ride which passes through the dinosaur section of the site.

Enjoy an afternoon discovering the many species of butterfly within the tropical greenhouses at Stratford Butterfly Farm, here you can learn about the numerous creepers and crawlers native to the UK and beyond.

You will be spoilt for choice for walking and cycling routes in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which is just a stone's throw away and renowned for its unbeatable landscapes.

Branching further afield, the historical town of Stratford-upon-Avon is just a scenic drive away and boasts a wealth of attractions including Shakespeare's birthplace and Anne Hathaway's house - ideal for literature lovers to immerse themselves into the life of one of the greatest writers known to man.

The charming village of Mickleton in Gloucestershire lies on the western edge of the Cotswolds Hills, close to the borders of Warwickshire and Worcestershire. Boasting many attractive black and white buildings, Mickleton offers a good selection of village amenities including a well-stocked shop, farm shops offering a taste of the area and two traditional pubs. Mickleton village is home to the famous Pudding Club at the Three Ways House Hotel, Definitely worth booking ahead for a full on 'Pudding Club experience'. Mickleton lies just south of the infamous Meon Hill, said to have inspired Tolkien's Weathertop from The Lord of the Rings. The small market town of Chipping Campden is close by, boasting an elegant terraced high street dating back to the 14th century.
