The location is perfect for walking, you can walk from the cottage straight onto the Malvern Hills. It is a restful, peaceful and relaxing place to stay.

The cottage is full of character and well maintained by the owners. We enjoyed sitting in the garden, watching the birds feeding. Also loved the Malvern spring water on tap. Thanks for a great week.

“Excellent holiday!”

Beautiful and quiet cottage, away from the rest of the world. Was lovely to be able to just walk out the gate and climb the hills. Close enough to places for wonderful days out, but when we got back in the evening we got to be in our own little world again. Contacted the owners Eva and Steven, about something little and they were absolutely amazing and nothing was an issue. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

It was extremely clean, spacious and comfortable. It is very well appointed (particularly the kitchen) so we had everything we needed. Surrounded by countryside, we found it a very peaceful and relaxing stay. There are some walks from right out the door and we also enjoyed exploring some of the other walking in the area which was only a short drive away (such as along the river Wye near Goodrich and in the Forest of Dean).

The house is well presented, warm, extremely clean and considerately equipped. The beds are comfortable and we really appreciated the two en-suites and one family bathroom - very useful in the mornings and evenings! We enjoyed being able to cook the food we bought locally in the practical kitchen and we loved the comfort of the wood burning stove. It was a huge bonus that there are so many good walks straight from the back door. Due to the Covid situation, we only cautiously explored the local area but fully intend to return to investigate further. We highly recommend a stay at Wisteria Cottage.

“A very well equipped cottage and in a quiet and interesting location.”

Coming at this time of year, the outside was often in shade which curtailed eating outside even on good days. However, the inside area had plenty of room and a bathroom to each bedroom is a bonus. We had a lovely restful week away from our ‘cabin fever’ and felt very safe.

It easily accommodated three adults and two teenagers with plenty of space to "do our thing" and yet room for shared meals and board games. Wisteria Cottage is ideally suited for walking in the Malvern Hills with a number of walks beginning from the side gate! In these Covid-19 days, we were delighted to find the cottage spotlessly clean and the kitchen had everything we wanted for self-catering. There are a number of NT properties within a 30 minute drive as well as Worcester and Hereford not too distant. We enjoyed seeing the Hereford copy of the Mappa Mundi. In short, we all enjoyed our stay and would very happily return to Wisteria Cottage.

“Tranquil setting yet just a few miles from Great Malvern.”

Worcester was just a short drive further on. If you fancy getting away from drivent, you could catch the train from Colwall - just a couple of miles away - to Great Malvern, Worcester or even Hereford. However, most of your food needs can be ne at the local food store in Colwall. Turning to the property, having a decent driveway added a touch of luxury. This feeling was carried into the property with tasty chocolate (Lindt) and osh biscuits provided. The property was clean and there was plenty of space to spread out. There was also the usual faclities of a utility room, washing machine, numerous loos, multiple tellys etc. I loved feeling carpet underfoot, rather than the standard hardwood flooring. The owner was very helpful and was only a telephone call away. Yes, I would recommend Wisteria.

“We had stayed in the cottage before now under new ownership- generally happy but would have appreciated more instructions re heating - we followed simple instruction given but this didn't help much as this only turned on heating for a short time - it was never on in the morning - we were lucky it wasn't really cold.”

Couldn't find any spare bin bags - only little issues but they make a difference

“Wisteria cottage was everything we hoped for, spotlessly clean, very well equipped and in a perfect location for visiting many villages and attractions.”

Best of all were the stunning walks which set off from the back of the cottage, an exhilarating climb led to all of creation spread out with views for dozens of miles. An evening drink in the cottage garden with birds all around was delightful, and the rushing of the wind through the trees soothed us to sleep in the comfy beds.
