The cottage was really lovely with a well thought out open plan living space downstairs and a surprisingly spacious upstairs bedroom and sitting area. The cottage was warm and very cosy – the perfect place to relax after a day out. Our hosts, Tony and Pat, were really great and made us feel very welcome. The Wagon House is set in beautiful countryside and is in an excellent location to visit many famous places. We very much enjoyed seeing Avebury Stone Circle, Lacock Abbey and village, Westonbirt Arboretum and Newark House. We also had a lovely day discovering nearby Malmesbury.

Wagon House is stunning holiday cottage set in a beautiful village location deep with in the rolling Southern Cotswolds.
Located in the grounds' of the owners' home (the oldest house in the village), this delightful holiday cottage (dating back to the 1600's) has been recently renovated to a very high standard and provides quality accommodation packed with period features in peaceful surroundings.
The cottage is situated in the beautiful and traditional Cotswold village of Little Somerford which is a short distance from the ancient market town of Malmesbury.
There is an excellent village store in the nearby village of Great Somerford and a recently restored pub (The Somerford Arms) a 5 minute walk away.
Internally, the property is presented beautifully, spacious both on the ground floor and upstairs.
We really feel this is ideal for a couple looking for an opportunity to relax and enjoy glorious surroundings.
To make your stay even more enjoyable the owner, who is most welcoming, is willing to offer breakfast and other treats should you be interested.
This cottage is one that is 'off-the-beaten-track' and therefore a real gem for you to enjoy.
We are sure you will love it too!
