The property

With two of the best pubs in the entire Cotswolds about 100 yards away in either direction The Tap Room has to be as perfectly located holiday cottage you could possibly want!

This cute, Grade Two listed Cotswolds' cottage is over 400 years old and is 'a-typical' for a classic cottage, with exposed stone walls and oak beams, however this was, once upon a time, the village cider store.

(We were given its history by the one of the neighbours who tell us that the cider was produced next door and people used to come to the front window of The Tap Room with jugs, order their cider and then take it home - the first ever 'take away cider house' we wonder!?!) Today the character of the old building remains intact all beautifully mixed with contemporary furniture and furnishings.

The open plan living space downstairs is ample for four, with the two cosy bedrooms upstairs within the cottage's eaves comfortable for a family or pair of couples.

Even though you have absolutely everything you need inside, there's little doubt in our mind that anyone staying here is likely to 'fill their boots at the two pubs' and for those that fancy a slightly longer stroll there is the beautiful Daylesford Farm Organic Shop, Spa and Restaurant just a mile up the road.

With the surrounding honeystone villages and countryside this is a 'true Cotswolds' bolt hole.

Two bedrooms (in the eaves): 1 x king size double, 1 x twin. Ground floor bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area.
