“Gorgeous little cottage but for a week's stay we found the couch and chairs rather uncomfortable as my husband is very tall.”

They are quite petite and firm. Good facilities in the kitchen area however we desperately needed a hoover by the 3rd day with 2 children staying too! The Village of Kingham was lovely but somewhere in the listing it said the cottage was in Stow on the wolds which is actually where we thought we were going. Not knowing the area we assumed Kingham was maybe a town within the county of Stow on the wolds or something...we got confused somewhere along the lines! Sykes could be clearer on where it ...

Not knowing the area we assumed Kingham was maybe a town within the county of Stow on the wolds or something...we got confused somewhere along the lines! Sykes could be clearer on where it is. We had to call to get the exact address and were told by the agent it was in Stow on the Wolds, Oxfordshire! Nice location however, warm and cosy. Would recommend to walkers or those seeking peace and quiet. We would stay again without the children but the area itself didn't have much for the family.

The property

Keen's Cottage is simply delightful!

Set in the 'West End' of this award winning village, the cottage is a classic 18th Century Cotswold property packed with attractive and traditional features that are mixed with modern touches to make this a real stand out holiday cottage option.

Its location down a little lane and within a traditional terrace of cottages is very peaceful and very convenient for two superb pubs less than 5 mins walk away.

Internally the property was recently renovated to provide a new conservatory/ Dining Room and new kitchen alongside the stunning inglenook fireplace with woodburning stove.
