“Needs more crockery would be useful.”
Four of everything, but not really adequate.
Four of everything, but not really adequate. No light above cooker , was reported on day one. There was a tremendous rain storm and water came under door, soaked carpets, and also through two windows. Told owners who seemed unconcerned!- Mr Moore, May 2021
“The Granary is a delightful holiday rental.”
Our family had a lovely time during our stay and the property is beautiful. It’s set in a lovely location. Cheltenham is a great place to base yourself for exploring. Facilities in the cottage are first rate. Excellent WiFi, huge smart TV (and 3 others), big shower, tasteful decor and comfy beds. Owners are friendly and helpful. Overall, we had a great stay!- Mrs Oracz, April 2021
“Our short break at The Granary was fantastic.”
We would usually head to a hotel for a short getaway but we wanted to take the dog - the cottage was beautiful and had the feel of a boutique hotel. It was a lovely surprise to find basics in the fridge and a bottle of wine on arrival - and best of all on a blustery autumn day... the log burner was on and gave us a fantastic warm welcome. We will definitely be back.- Mrs Bailey, October 2020
“Extremely well fitted out and comfortable property.”
Owners very friendly and helpful. Position very convenient for visiting charming Cotswold towns and villages.- Mr Fitz-hugh, September 2020
“Hosts were lovely and friendly.”
The cottage was spotless clean and sooo comfortable and contained everything you could possibly need. Highly recommended.- Mrs Morgan, September 2020
“Fantastic holiday in this beautiful cottage in the Cotswolds.”
Stephen and Jessica were incredibly welcoming, even providing fresh milk and eggs from their chickens when we arrived! The cottage itself is well appointed and a great leaping off point to explore the huge number of walks, country pubs and pretty villages in the area. Would highly recommend and I hope to be back again some time soon as well!- Mr Jones, August 2020
“Excellent accommodation, and wonderful owners.”
Loved the fact we could walk our dog on their land, was an excellent space to use. Very friendly, couldn’t be more helpful. Would definitely recommend.- Mr Mason, August 2020
“What a fantastic find for us straight after lockdown!”
Our little family which includes a 3 1/2 year old & 13 month old girls and 6 month old Lab puppy found the perfect getaway with everything that we needed. The house itself is charming and perfect for us, very nice facilities and furniture to go with amazing grounds in which to walk around with the dog first thing in the morning before heading out into the cotswolds. The house is set in a courtyard that is exclusive to the property and the owners house so the girls and the dog could run around without fear of traffic or strangers. But the icing on the cake was certainly the owners of the cottage who live next door, a lovely family who have managed to perfect just how much contact to offer their visitors. Always on hand to help if needed and very accommodating with their beautiful acres of land to explore, the field full of sheep was of great excitement to our eldest Veronica and they even invited her to help feed the baby lamb when we saw them. We cannot recommend enough and will be revisiting again in the future for sure. Just to add that the efforts made to be COVID safe as they re opened was also impressive and the sight of a shrink wrapped TV remote made us chuckle - they had thought of everything!- Mr Moss, July 2020
“Cosy, comfortable little gem!”
The perfect spot to explore the Cotswolds. On arrival we were greeted by the very friendly and helpful owners who live onsite. They couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome - the fire was lit, we had a basket of provisions including milk, bread, fresh eggs from their own chickens, biscuits and fresh flowers. With easy access to the lovely Cotwsold villages, we were provided with a folder of information and had no end of places to visit. The only downside was that there was SO much to see that we didn't get to spend as much time in the lovely cottage as we wanted! We will DEFINITELY be returning!- emilyosagie, November 2019
This has to be one of the best holidays my Family and I have had in this area of the country. The Owners of the property are great, made us welcome from the moment we arrived to we left. Great facility and dog friendly. Superb location and handy to all amenities you would need for self catering holiday. You can reach all directions of the cotswolds from here and there is a full A4 folder worth of fun things to do in the area, if your new to it. Would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a get away in the Uk. Value for money and has the personal touch too.- gordirv75, June 2019
