“What a lovely, relaxing 3 nights away.”

Some real positives about booking this property were excellent communication prior to arrival (especially around Covid-19 Q&As), the property was genuinely spotless (everything was gleaming), the garden was large and enclosed with lovely views across the valley and private hedging to the roadside and unbelievably quiet which was why I booked the location in the first place. Just the occasional car driving past and the sound of buzzards in the sky! The bedding was lovely (quality duvets and covers), the AGA kept a base level of warmth throughout the property (although the weather was lovely anyway), an excellent power shower in the master bedroom (didn't use the shower in the twin room), the lounge was lovely and light and the garden had a really pleasant aspect and sitting area outside. Our dog loved the garden and spent many hours out there chewing her bone! The owners who live next door gave us total privacy during our stay, but had also kindly given us various contact numbers including the housekeeper who could have sorted any issues out. Just a few small things that could improve the overall experience: Working batteries in the DVD console Sharper serrated and flat knives for the kitchen A toaster A larger waste bin for the kitchen and mixed recycling Instructions on using the AGA - and temperatures (I have never used one before this trip!) Functioning lights in the ensuite to master bedroom over the sink area In summary, a very well laid out and welcoming property with great attention to detail and comfort. There is a large private parking space easily for 2 cars and a garage carport if you were motorbiking or had bicycles to keep dry. I would definitely book again and highly recommend a stay; you won't be disappointed. Thank you to the owners for making this property available.
