“We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay in this pretty cottage with a very well maintained garden in a picturesque quiet village.”

We were spending a long family weekend to celebrate two of our birthdays, so we ate out a lot! We were spending a long family weekend to celebrate two of our birthdays, so we ate out a lot! The location is great for local pubs - Kingham Plough and Kings Head, Bledington being our favourites and for lovely walks and visiting the Cotswold villages - well known and the smaller, quieter ones. The cottage suited us very well with comfortable beds and sofa, everything was well maintained and very clean, However, I would say perhaps the low door frames should have been mentioned (apologies if I missed that in the description) With all five of us being tall - three of our party ranging from 6'3 - 6'5, there were a few bumped heads during our stay, when forgetting to duck! However, all the room heights were fortunately fine. Would highly recommend and great it is dog friendly too!

The property

Stylish folks will love Home Farm Cottage, every inch the classic quintessential Cotswolds cottage in this very pretty village.

With three pubs in three surrounding villages and all within 2 miles you've got the "proper" country cottage experience awaiting you.

Inside the owners have stamped their design flair with gorgeous touches of style throughout this beautiful period building.

The huge L-shaped sofa in the Living Room , filled with bright cushions and facing the monster-size inglenook fireplace is dreamy and cosy in equal measure.

The farmhouse kitchen overlooks a classic cottage garden, while upstairs are three good sized bedrooms plus two bathrooms, all looking across fabulous views and surrounded by beams and historic wooden pillars.

Walks are a plenty in all directions, all of which are sure to take you to a splendid gastro pub (of which there are plenty nearby!) or if you fancy really treating yourself, then Daylesford Organic shop is up the road where you can spoil yourself and quite possibly bump into a celeb or two.

We've fallen in love with Home Farm and we think you will too.
