Excellent hosts who live next door. ...

Excellent hosts who live next door. Points that need addressing: 1 Downstairs bedroom - and bathroom - both handles weak and hardly catch. 2 Downstairs bathroom - plug does not work in bath, was advised to tweak it out with a knife 3 Downstairs bathroom - fan not working 4 Kitchen - fridge temperature kept rising, advised to keep boosting on 'super - cool' by host. 5 Kitchen - utensils would benefit from addition of a sharp knife that didn't wiggle at the handle 6 Living room - would benefit from having a slightly larger (and smart!) TV for those evenings one can't go out! 7 Upstairs - toilet flush is extremely poor and needs maintenance and / or replacing 8 Upstairs - otherwise all good - but ceiling lights stopped working in bedroom on final day. Internet erratic but expected in location and area. 9 Arrival directions - might be better to prioritise alternative access to cottage on arrival - instead of via Summer Lane - which is quite difficult in driving rain and in darkness. 10 information pack slightly limited - would benefit from some information on places to visit in wider area for those with cars, and not necessarily walkers. Really enjoyed our stay though! And Huw was both charming and helpful.

The property

Coach House is a charming cottage set in Combe Down near Bath.

The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms which are both doubles, one of which is on the ground floor and the other is on a mezzanine level with an en-suite shower room.

There is a family bathroom on the ground floor.

There is also a kitchen, a utility, a sitting room with a dining area.

Outside there is a patio area with furniture, off road parking for two cars and secure bike storage.

Coach House is a lovely choice for anyone looking to stay in the Southern Cotswolds.
