10. The Kingham Plough – Kingham<\/h2>\n

Famous for being the pub owned by super star chef Emily Watkins whose ethos that provenance is the key to great food have earned this popular Cotswold dining pub many awards since the opening in 2007. Emily and her team source only the best local ingredients for their gastronomic delights and with The Kingham Plough<\/a> being centrally located in the Oxfordshire village of Kingham, near Chipping Norton, it welcomes customers from near and far, and their dogs.<\/p>\n

On the road from Shipston-on-Stour to Chipping Norton is the small village of Long Compton, home of one of the most dog-friendly pubs in the Cotswolds. With a gorgeous resident chocolate lab (who is happy to substitute in case you didn\u2019t bring your own dog), you always feel welcome at The Red Lion<\/a>, with or without your dog.
