When visiting the Cotswolds, Bourton-on-the-Water Model Village<\/a> is a must see! As the UK\u2019s only Grade II listed model village it is a replica of the picturesque surrounding village of Bourton-on-the-Water.<\/p>\n

Set in the grounds of The Old New Inn<\/a> restaurant with rooms, you can enjoy a tasty bite to eat afterwards. Inside the model village follow the river as you make your way around the tiny buildings.<\/p>\n

History of the Model Village<\/h2>\n

Built in 1930, the attraction mirrors life as it was then, with many of the buildings featuring traditional signage and cars.<\/p>\n

In 2013 English Heritage recognised its importance and history and qualified it for Grade II listed building status.<\/p>\n

As you arrive in Bourton-on the-Water, head to or follow the river Windrush in the village. The Old New Inn is signposted or you can use the postcode GL54 2AF.<\/p>\n

There is a small car park with a pay and display car park immediately outside of the attraction. However, there are other parking opportunities nearby.<\/p>\n

The Tap Room offers an array of delicious treats from Afternoon Tea, tapas, gourmet pub classics plus light bites and sandwiches.<\/p>\n
