Stratford, as we think you already know is steeped in history, and is most famous for being the birthplace of William Shakespeare. There are a number of walks available within this beautiful city, all are extremely interesting and contain stories of fires, floods, the plague, medieval cures and the history of the town. We’re happy to say that there is this super tour given by some local experts that will give you an interesting and educational backdrop to this historical spot.

Stratford Town Walk

One of the most popular guided tours that takes you around Stratford to see the Shakespeare Town Houses, Royal Shakespeare Theatres, Holy Trinity Church and much more. This tour is one of the best ways to discover Stratford and the history of William Shakespeare. The Tour guide will entertain and inform with amusing anecdotes, tales of fires, flood, plague, mediaeval cures and history of the town. The tour lasts for approximately 1┬╜-2 hours.

Stratford Town Ghost Walk

Take a frightful evening walk to hear the stories of Stratford’s scary past. You will hear about the local witches, ghosts, murder and mayhem. One of the guides is a member of 'The Magic Circle' and all guides are members of Equity. Be afraid, very afraid… This tour is a must.
