Badminton Horse Trials is one of the toughest and most exciting three day event competitions. Horses and riders compete over the three days in different disciplines. The dressage phase tests obedience, discipline, accuracy and elegance. Fitness and athleticism are key to completing the 4 mile cross country course day and on the final day a course of show-jumps tests agility and accuracy at speed.
International Events are graded with stars according to their level of difficulty and Badminton is a 4 Star Event, the highest grade and one of only 6 such events in the world.
