Chipping Campden.

As nestled in the northern Cotswolds is Chipping Campden. There is many a Cotswold holiday cottage here so this could literally be right on your doorstep. It has many charming streets and buildings, and there are lots of footpaths and walks in the area too. This gives you a chance to explore in more detail.

The northern Cotswolds is resplendent with a number of famous villages most people have heard of. Perhaps most famous of all is Bourton on the Water. The River Windrush is one of the key sights here, as are the small bridges that span it at several points. The village offers some key attractions, not least of which is the Cotswold Motor Museum. However on a sunny day there is nothing better than enjoying an ice cream or even a bag of chips while settled alongside the river on the grass.

Finally Snowshill is unmissable if you are staying in the northern reaches of the Cotswolds.
