Ludlow

Ludlow is an unspoiled medieval market town dating back to the 12th Century, and was the UK pioneer of the slowtown movement. The town is home to Ludlow Castle, the beautiful Ludlow church and in recent years has become famous for its gastronomy and The Ludlow Festival which takes place in the last week of June and the first week in July, the Ludlow Marches Food & Drink Festival also takes place in September throughout the town. There is also a Medieval Christmas Fair at the end of November.
