Wisteria Cottage is a delightful holiday cottage located in the Cotswold village of Milton under Wychwood. Set in the grounds of the owner's home, the property is a spacious home furnished in a traditional and homely style to complement the cottage's overall feel. The cottage enjoys a view towards the village's 'green' and hills beyond. The property also benefits from its own private courtyard which is ideal for 'sundowners'! Within Milton (and its neighbouring village Shipton under Wychwood) there are good shops, pubs and a library with internet access all within reasonable walking distance. The cottage is also conveniently located as it is only three miles north of Burford aswell as other Cotswolds' attractions. In our opinion, this holiday cottage represents very good value for money.

Local Information
Milton Under Wychwood is one of three villages named after it's surrounding forest, Wychwood Forest, the others being Shipton Under Wychwood and Ascott Under Wychwood. Tucked away in its quiet location, the village has great access to other local villages such as Burford, Kingham, where the famous Daylesford Farmshop is based.
The popular market towns of Chipping Norton and Stow on the Wold are approx 10 mins drive away, with many excellent shops and pubs plus supermarkets etc. The ever-popular Bourton-on-the-Water is just 15 mins away.
Other famous locations including The Cotswold Wildlife Park and Woodstock (Blenheim Palace) are no more than 15/20 mins away, while Stratford-upon-Avon, Cheltenham and Cirencester are easily accessible for a day trip.
There are two very good pubs about 15 mins walk away, The Shaven Crown and The Lamb, both well recommended and welcoming children. Within 3 mins of the cottage is a great local shop and a fantastic deli providing local cheeses and other delights.
