Stone Wheel Cottage is a light and spacious character cottage situated in the stunning village of Hook Norton - famous for its award winning local brewery producing 'Hookie'. Surrounded by lawns and classic, picturesque gardens this charming period property is ideal for families or a small group who like to get away to the countryside to a truly traditional village. Internally the cottage is presented in a traditional style, creating a very warm and welcoming feel for your stay. Externally the garden is absolutely lovely and yet secure plus there is a covered swimming pool (PLEASE NOTE: the pool is not heated 1st October - 1st April). With a good selection of local pubs this is sure to please everyone! Superb value for money.

Outside
There is a small patio area to the rear of the cottage, which leads to the delightful garden that rolls down towards fields and a copse. Within the garden are a variety of fruit trees and wonderful flowers. There is also a large, indoor swimming pool which is for guests' and owners' use. BBQ available for guests use.

Location
The village as you would expect has several good pubs, along with a very good general store and Post Office and serves as a charming base for visiting Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick Castle, Blenheim Palace, Broughton Castle and other Cotswolds delights. The owners have made a special arrangement with the local golf club (five minutes drive away) for subsidised pay and play rates. Riding is also available close by. There is a Pottery adjacent to the cottage, which sells a great variety of tableware, lamps and gifts made by a range of local craftspeople.
