Manor Cottages - Escape to the Cotswolds

Wadham Cottage is a fine and charming Cotswold holiday cottage set very convenient for the the centre of this very popular village. The property is located within a traditional terrace of old worker cottages, which were originally called the 'Church Cottages'. Today the property, as you would expect with such history, including a strong association with Wadham College, Oxford, has many Cotswolds features including the classic beams that make the rooms so cosy. The cottage was updated in recent years and provides very comfortable accommodation for two or possibly four with a second bedroom on the top floor*. Of particular appeal is the fact that the attractions of Bourton on the Water are approximately 2 minutes walk away!

ACCOMMODATION

Entrance to the property is through to kitchen. Although there is a 'front' door, entry to and from the cottage is better through the 'back' door.
Kitchen, well equipped, with gas hob and gas oven/grill, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment plus a traditional Welsh dresser. There are washing facilities in the outhouse. There is a dining table with four chairs. There is a washing machine and tumble drier in the outhouse.
Living Room, a quaint room overlooking Bourton High Street, with sofa, two armchairs TV with Free Sat (including ability to record progammes) and DVD player. There is also an electric fire. From this room are the stairs to the upper floors.

First Floor (please note steep stairs)
Main Bedroom with double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. This room overlooks the High Street.
Bathroom with bath, handheld shower, WC and washbasin.

Access to the second floor and bedroom two, please note, is through bedroom one.

Outside
There is an outhouse approximately 5 paces (!) from the back door which has a washing machine and tumble drier with airer and sink too. Additionally there is a small patio area with chairs, with a good sized grassed garden area beyond this, which backs on the church.

Any day changeover through the year, but please Saturday during high season. Pets Welcome, but please be considerate. Off-street parking for one car. Travel cot and highchair available. Wifi also available.

Heating & Electricity Included. Please No Short Breaks in the peak summer months. *The extra beds in bedroom 2 available at an additional £40 per person per week/stay, maximum four persons in cottage.
