Weathervane Cottage is a lovely and spacious holiday cottage situated in the beautiful hamlet of Lyneham, a classic Cotswold spot. The hamlet is located near to the heart of the Cotswolds making it an ideal spot to tour the local area. Previously a barn, the property has undergone a complete transformation to provide comfortable holiday accommodation in a truly tranquil location. Lyneham is well located for visiting all Cotswold attractions and villages including Burford, Stow on the Wold and Blenheim Palace at Woodstock. *Although the village does not have a pub, there is a friendly golf club approximately a 10 min walk away which welcomes non playing guests for food and drinks. Described as 'a well groomed course that challenges the best golfers.... it has a lovely clubhouse with breathtaking views of the Oxfordshire Cotswolds.' We say it's well worth a visit! (01993 831 841 closes at dusk in Winter months.) The popular towns of Stratford upon Avon and Oxford are also within easy driving distance. (Kingham station is approx. 2 miles away, with trains to Oxford, London, Hereford and Worcester.)
