Tallet Barn, Visit Britain Four Stars, is a delightful Cotswold holiday cottage set in an extremely convenient location within the heart of the Cotswolds. Set within the grounds of the owner's home this high quality cottage offers an excellent standard of self catering accommodation with the owners carefully considering each element to make their guests' stay a very pleasant one. Internally the cottage retains a number of period features, complimented by quality fixtures and fittings all set within a spacious home ideal for relaxing within. Externally the property has a large outdoor patio as well access across the owners grounds and use of the tennis court. Situated in a quiet position in the village, the cottage is only one mile from the picturesque village of Bourton-on-the-Water with its stone bridges crossing the River Windrush and many attractions. A wonderful cottage.
ACCOMMODATION
Entrance through to kitchen.
Kitchen fully equipped with electric hob and cooker, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, washing machine with dryer, dishwasher. There is a table and four chairs for dining.
Living Room (3 steps down) a lovely room full of character with beams and exposed walls; two good size sofas, large flatscreen TV with Freeview plus DVD player and a iPod docking station.
Upstairs
Bedroom with double bed, wardrobe and sofa (converting to sofa bed*). The room has a great view across the grounds,
Bathroom, a spacious room with clawfooted roll top bath, handheld shower, WC and washbasin.
Outside
The cottage has a large terrace garden area with brazier style fire for an outdoor fire, plus table and four chairs and BBQ. Beyond are the grounds which guests have access to. Additionally there is a tennis court available for use along with a games room with pool table and table tennis table.
One Friendly Dog welcome, by arrangement (owner has 2 friendly labradors). Oil fired central heating. Sorry No Smokers. Superb Welcome Pack including cereal, bread, fresh coffee, milk, eggs, butter and wine! Limited Internet Access available, please discuss with owner.
Children Welcome. Cot & High Chair available. * Sofa bed available at £40 per person per week or per stay. Off Street Parking.
Any day Changeover, except Summer School Holidays where Fridays are preferred please.
Little Rissington is less than a mile from Bourton-on-the-Water, which itself is full of Cotswold charm with small footbridges and walkways criss-crossing the river throughout the village. It also boasts many interesting shops, cosy tea rooms, pubs and restaurants, all within easy walking distance. There are also several local attractions to visit which include the Model Village, the Butterfly Maze, Birdland, the Motor Museum and the Cotswold PerfumeryLocal Information

It also boasts many boutique shops, tea rooms, pubs and restaurants, all within easy walking distance. There are also several local attractions to visit which include the Model Village, the Butterfly Maze, Birdland, the Motor Museum and the Cotswold Perfumery. Further a field you drive to Stow on the Wold famously known for its antiques, Burford with its Cotswold Wildlife Park and Chipping Norton for all its olde world charisma.
