The Old Stores is a homely cottage set within the beautiful village of Lowbands, itself a short drive from the wonderful market town of Ledbury. The cottage sits within an acre of private gardens, which is perfect for children and in our opinion is what makes this cottage so desirable. There are country walks from your door with plenty more to see and do within a short drive. You may, instead, decide to relax in the enormous garden enjoying the peace of the countryside! Good accommodation in a delightful location and outstanding value.
We feel that the cottage is particularly suited to family groups given it's size and the fact that there is a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor - ideal for grandparents!

Local Information
Ledbury is a market town with a timeless, unhurried quality about it. Rich in history it existed as an early Saxon settlement before being described as Liedeberge (Leadon Hill) in the Domesday Book. There are many examples of beautiful achitecture throughout the town, many housing some of the super shops that are available in the town. Today Ledbury has a strong link with the poetry world with a number of events occuring through the year.
Ledbury is located on the edge of Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire with the Cotswolds in one direction and The Malvern Hills in another. There are countless 'black and white' villages across the region as well as many beautiful woodlands , many accessible via some stunning countryside walks.
