Foscot and Bledington are truly delightful villages set in the heart of the Cotswolds countryside. Approximately 15 min walk from the house is the award winning Kings Head pub which does excellent food. Nearby are many Cotwolds attractions including the Cotswolds Wildlife Park and Cotswold Farm Park. The reknowned Daylesford Organic Store is a few miles away. The centres of Stratford, Cheltenham and Oxford are approximately 30 mins away and London is easily accessible by train from nearby Kingham which is about 2 miles 'up the road'!  (Time from London about 1½ hours and Oxford just 20 mins).

Local Information

Foscot is a small hamlet nestling next to the stunning village of Bledington, itself in the broad valley of the River Evenlode, all very close to the famous Cotswold town of Stow on the Wold. Foscot and Bledington lies on the Oxfordshire Way walk (it actually runs through Foxcote Farm (within the same ownership). This walk will take you up on to the wolds via Wyck Beacon and down to Bourton-on-the-Water, or south-eastwards down the valley to Bruern Abbey and onto Shipston-under-Wychwood. Either way it is a delightful walk.

For those thnking 'food' the excellent 'Kings Head' pub is in Bledington and about 10 mins walk away. We can say it is excellent, it serves local ales and great food. There are others to choose from incl those in Kingham and Churchill, but this is good enough!

Regency Cheltenham and the magnificent university town of Oxford are also within an easy drive while many local attractions are very nearby.
