Local Information
Great Rollright, which is situated approximately 3 miles to the north of Chipping Norton, is a sleepy traditional Cotswold village. It is probably most well known for its association with the Rollright Stones (a smaller version of Stonehenge - a circular collection of pregistoric stones) which are approx 4000 years old and a popular spot for people to visit. The village is surrounded by open countryside and has good access to Chipping Norton, Moreten in Marsh and Stow on the Wold and all their services and facilities.
Two miles away is the village of Hook Norton which is a delightful spot with its own award winning brewery and pubs. The local market town of Chipping Norton has many shops, restaurants and amenities to choose from. Slightly further afield are the popular locations of Burford, Stow on the Wold and Chipping Campden. For the more adventurous Oxford, Stratford upon Avon and Warwick are within a short drive of approx 30 mins
